Every year it get harder to get into USC.
USC’s acceptance rate for the 2022-23 college application year was just 11.5 percent, a 0.5 percent decrease from last year’s rate.
USC received 80,790 applications and accepted 8,032 for the Fall 2023 semester. An additional 1,245 applicants were accepted for Spring 2024 admission.
USC received 17 percent more applications this year than for the 2022 admission cycle as approximately 12,000 more students applied to USC this year than in 2022.
- The McDonald’s All-American games are today. The women’s game, featuring Juju Watkins, is at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2. The men’s game, featuring Isaiah Collier, is at 6 p.m. on ESPN.
Just imagine if those entrance requirements applied to all student-athletes around the country and what caliber of play would we as fans would experience and the level of entertainment value…hmmm

Fortunately when I applied to USC they were taking a little over 100% of the applicants…..

I’m pretty sure when I applied, the fact that I did not check the box that said I would be seeking financial assistance was all they needed to accept me.

Apparently all this talk about a college degree not worth as much as in prior years fell on deaf years, at least at SC, and to bear in mind that those 80,000 applications came mainly from families knowing they would have to fork over 100s of thousands of dollars for their kid,
and yes, if those stringent academic standards were applied to the athletes then guys like me who cannot jump might have a shot at making the Trojan basketball team

Thank God for the 110 year old “special scholarship” program that Mark Ridley Thomas exposed.

The Bruins rate #18 and SUCC #6 on the all-time list.
If such a BB list were created, UCLA would at the very least, land somewhere in the Top 10; more likely in the all-time top 5
bozo BB on the other hand, wouldn’t rate in the top 75.

UCLA would be top 5.
USC would be somewhere in top 10.

If the Bruins hadn’t suffered all of those injuries, their ranking would be higher.
I don’t know if that’s a fact or not.

We would’ve beat out Notre Dame for #5 if it weren’t for bad calls & Pac 12 officiating….

The fact he won’t speak to the media is one way to get said media to focus on him and that keeps the fact his ranking, nationally isn’t even in the top 100.

For recruiting purposes it is 3.88. That keeps the fanboys panting for more.

4.38 would’ve been more believable ❤️

Well, Raiola is not a 6-4, 170 stick. Malachi hit the weight room.

Miller Moss will be 2nd string in 2023. Perhaps Moss, Malachi, and Raiola will compete in 2024, but right now my money would be on Moss as starter and Raiola as backup. Maybe Malachi to the transfer portal.

I like Moss’ moxy and thought he performed well in 2022 Spring Game.
