I’m seeing a lot of players entering the transfer portal and some media (usually recruiting centric) will mention it’s a four-star player or top 100 recruit, etc.
This leads one to believe the college dropped the ball, especially on younger players who don’t have much experience, and remain unknown to fans.
But at least two Pac-12 colleges I know that lost transfers did it because the coaching staffs didn’t really think the players were good enough after they got to campus. So you can’t always assume these transfers, especially the younger ones, are a loss in the eyes of the coaches.

Scott Wolf, what makes you think these coaches know they’re doing? Stanford kept a bad coach-just like USC because they thought they were special. Now, with 19 players, only 3 came in through for Stanford. How will they win? Meanwhile Lanning at Oregon is trying to make his team like Georgia but with mercenaries and west coast guys? He knows what he’s doing?

The word “retarded” actually means slowed down. (Re as in do again and tard as in tardy) So in concocting your term you have described slow sex (you do the math).
