Some Early Red Flags On New Football Project

USC called the unveiling of the new athletics facilities part of Carol Folt’s “moonshot.”

Here’s a couple things that stand out already: No mention of the cost. No mention when it gets built.

This is not how USC normally does business. Last week, it said the new soccer stadium will cost $38 million.

The new football center? Cost unknown. Dedeaux Field? Cost unknown. And no timelines on construction because it could be quite a ways off.

Now the baseball project will get done one way or another around the 2028 Olympics because USC will host the swimming events.

But the football project will need to find some donors. Maybe Lincoln Riley can donate a few million.

  1. Wolf, you need to respond to USC’s submission of the status of it’s “employees” access to labor rights. That’s a decision on November 7th that’s going to factor in billions of dollars across the nation. If USC wins, then UCLA should send a $10 million thank you to SC for saving their bank accounts.

  2. Thee is zero reason to build a new $38 million stadium for womens soccer that will get 100 fans to show up per game. Football is what counts.

The problem with these leftist idiots is that they put their pet projects in ESG above bottom line realities.

  3. In the rendering of the project, it looks like Flour Tower is still there.
That was the red flag for me.

    Happy Friday to all.

  5. Will the IOC cover cost for the new projected 10m Dedeaux baseball field? That is a fair shake with IOC building new pools at the current location of Dedeaux field
