Los Angeles Country Club just staged the U.S. Open. Remember in 2019, a group of business leaders and USC alumni mounted a behind-the-scenes campaign against Rick Caruso’s bid to join the country club in retaliation for the dismissal of business school dean Jim Ellis, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
