The ACC has agreed to a deal with the CW to broadcast 50 football and basketball games per season through 2026-27. The first broadcast will be Cincinnati-Pitt on Sept. 9th.
Isn’t this something the Pac-12 should be doing?

No offense, Scott, but by January 2024 I will be looking at the
Pac-12 in the rear view mirror

Hopefully, the Pac-12 can announce a streaming deal with Out TV. I know I get that channel!

I heard the Cartoon Network is in negotiations with UCLA for exclusive media rights to all games at the Rose Bowl. Cartoon Network claims they have AI technology to fill in the empty seats with fans….sweet!

Scott, should USC and its fan base be concerned about what happens with the PAC12 media deals going into the 2026-2027 seasons. That’s a question you should ask the fan base of the 10 remaining schools. I appreciate your general concerns

Like others here, I do not care what pac12 does. I will watch an occasional game here or there, but certainly won’t care as much, if at all, once we leave.

Sad to see the Pac Coast Conference – Pac 8 – Pac 10 – Pac 12 go the way of the dodo bird, but they did it to themselves.

You are so right 67, not only the asshole commissioner but all the worthless university presidents that paid no attention, just glibly accepting their annual checks.

Scott why don’t you do an in depth looksie at how Larry Scott destroyed the conference and where his worthless back end has landed him now.

This is an easy subject to make fun of, but it’s no laughing matter. The repeated failures of the PAC-12 network to produce a decent media deal with wide coverage, substantial revenue and the largest possible audience exposure have decimated the conference.

I am reading 112 degrees under the backyard patio cover…OUCH! The prediction for Sunday is 118 degrees which would break the all-time high of 117. The official measurement is taken at the airport. We are looking at 10 days straight of 110-plus temperatures, with lows in the upper 80’s. The AC will be working overtime, for sure!

My son and I were struggling last weekend in Vegas when it was 105. Even with 6% humidity, 105 is 105. 112 and above is over-the-top hot.

When it’s 100 plus outside, tourists make the mistake of thinking they can walk to a resort that looks like it’s just down the street. They take off, get little over a 100 yards and start to melt……change of plans!

Ya Gabby, with an overnight low of 99 the AC units never stop. We are going for 110 tomorrow in Central CA. (Visalia)

We get about 90 to 100 days a year of 100-plus degrees, mainly around 102 to 106, peaking in late July. I can live with that, but when it’s over 110 it feels like an inferno. All you can do is hydrate and stay indoors. I don’t know how people handled it before the invention of AC

Let’s see…….what does the pac 12 have that a network would want…….About the only area with a half way descent team in a larger demographic is Seattle. The others are all either lousy teams with admins that don’t give a F— or ok teams in cities and states where almost nobody lives. Good national matchups are…….Wash vs Oregon and…….there are none. Stanford vs Cal or Az vs Az St….please.
I suspect they end up taking 25 million each and begging another conference to save them.

I’m trying to be mature about this but this conference sided with the jackals to destroy USC football and give no respect to anything else on the West Coast in the other sports. And the Pac-12 did nothing about it. The final hypocrisy is Tennessee with violations worse than anything Reggie Bush did and getting an $8 milliion fine as the worst of the punishment and some stupid forefeits as if that matters. Good riddance and die already, Pac-12.

The PAC 12 is done, no tv deal will save them. Nobody wants to see their games. You can’t have Oregon vs Washington every week. Plus they are hoping that Colorado will be TV hit because of prime. They will need to recruit SMU, SD St, or Boise State to get only West Coast viewers not national viewership. Hopefully SC can lure Oregron out of retirement and pay him at least 3-5 million to be the highest paid assistant in the country. He will definitely get use his ties in Louisiana, Florida and Big country. If I was LR I would be speed dialing him to check his interest as a fall back to Grinchy.
