This is an awful time of the year because I invariably get sent something that says a player or coach is “doing work.”
A coach recruiting is “doing work.” A player lifting weights is “doing work.” A recruit breaking up a pass at a 7-on-7 is “doing work.”
It’s so tedious. All these people are doing “their jobs.” Like everyone else in their positions across the country.
Doing your job is not something to celebrate.
I guess it’s not quite as bad as last summer when a USC lineman doing the splits was the big thing. And how did that translate to the field?
