USC Picture Of The Night

It’s our latest installment of “banquets, luncheons and beauty contests.”

Here is USC star wide receiver Hal Bedsole, on Oct. 11, 1961, at the (San Fernando) Valley Trojan Club meeting, where he told the crowd the Trojans were ready to face No. 8-ranked Notre Dame that Saturday.

It was a homecoming for Bedsole, who attended Reseda High School and Pierce College in Woodland Hills. Bedsole was an All-American and later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

      5. Chickenshit Gabby has a few screws loose. Or maybe the heat has gotten to him. He constantly starts shit with people then claims to be the victim when people respond. Usually it’s with SoCal or anyone who doesn’t play along with his narcissism. This AM, it was 35+ comments claiming Scott was trolling his own site. The guy is not normal. I’m guessing he has some undiagnosed mental illness. I’d also like for the stupid bickering to stop but as long as it happens, let’s be honest as to who is the instigator.

  2. USC didn’t defeat ‘the princess’ @ So. Bend that year – they hadn’t defeated them at So. Bend since 1939 and wouldn’t until 1967 (OJ’s remarkable day with Lindsay Nelson moaning “…..oh no no no!”)
