USC will have two players wear the same jersey number for every available number between 0-20 this season.
The only numbers not worn are the retired Heisman Trophy winners but I wouldn’t say they are unavailable because USC is willing to unretire them at any moment (see Jordan Addison, Darnell Bing).
Freshman tight end Duce Robinson will wear 19. Rush end DJ Peevy will wear No. 35. This number doesn’t seem to hold any significance anymore. Is there anyone in the football program who even realizes its history?
For the first time, USC will have two No. 0’s: Korey Foreman and MarShawn Lloyd.

If a jersey number is a deal breaker, then you need to be able to deliver or else lose the player to another school. Just the way it is now. Carson Palmer understands that, which is why he gave his number to Addison. That says even more about Carson as a Trojan.

Agree Hal9000. And why didn’t the referees immediately call time out, get control of the dog, and remove it from the building. Photos show it under the UCLA basket and later near mid court on the SC side of the court. It also looks like the dog was either trying to smell the UCLA player or bite him in the ass. I suspect the the original tirebiter would be fine with the latter.

I pointed this out a while back. The kids coming up don’t have any history to relate to. We’ve had what looks like an endless string of bad coaching and stupid mistakes. USC has played for over a decade as if the shotgun formation meant shoot yourself in the foot. High School kids have idols who didn’t wear cardinal and gold. We are living in the past these kids are selfish and self absorbed. It’s moneyball these days.
Numbers will regain their importance once the team has real stars.
