I was told yesterday that USC personnel used an automated external defibrillator (AED) on Bronny James.
That’s twice they used the device on a player at the Galen Center in a little more than 12 months.
USC obviously knows how to deal with this. What’s unfortunate is because it is Bronny James, there is a lot of baseless speculation on social media about his situation.
No one said anything similar when Vincent Iwuchukwu suffered a cardiac arrest last year because he wasn’t a celebrity. That’s the only difference.
- The USC football media day at the McKay Center on Friday has quite a footnote: “Should a media member need to use the restroom, they will be escorted upstairs by a USC staff member. Media are not permitted to walk anywhere else in the facility unattended.”
A bathroom pass might need to be printed.
- This is cool. A USC football internship. Then you read the ad: It’s an unpaid internship and not available for course credit.

Agree Trojanzzz. Thankfully the Labor department is cracking down on the “unpaid intern” abuses. One of the biggest abusers of unpaid interns has been the entertainment industry. I recall seeing young people in their twenties doing essentially crowd control while holding up signs that say “Quiet Please” and later finding out they were unpaid interns looking to work as assistant producers on a television show.

I worked for the football team in the fall of ’92 as part of work study. It was one of the most unique and memorable jobs I’ve ever had. But I got paid for my time. Don’t call this an internship. Call it what it is: volunteering.
Also, this “internship” is to help with recruiting events, and we all know what they’re actually looking for: hot, friendly co-eds*.

One of the 7 requirements set by the Department of Labor for an Internship to be unpaid is: That the internship is tied to the student’s educational program (this typically involves the student receiving formal course credit from the school). My guess is that they will only be hiring attractive females for “Recruiting Events” and paying them would be even a bigger legal problem.

My question would be…..did Bronny take a booster shot. The biggest problem(especially for young people of his age) is that the booster shot recipients are experiencing heart problems, blood clots and enlarged hearts or at least that is what I am reading. People are actually dying from these shots. I won’t take it because, despite what they say, I have friends who have had major complications from those booster shots…..one just died and another is heading towards Alsheimers disease and it all came on shortly after taking the shot…..with one it happened the next day.

Dude, blood clots don’t cause cardiac arrest unless they don’t go untreated for hours. Myocarditis doesn’t show up two years after a vaccine or a booster was administered. From what it looks like (qouting sports doctors) it may have been from heat exhaustion and/or a foreign substance involved but (CNN speculation) it could be an electrical issue with his heart.
They’re going to have to investigate for legal exposure protection even if they don’t want to let the public know for privacy reasons.

From the info I have received, booster shots are causing blood clots and cardiac arrest. I didn’t say that the blood clots and the cardiac arrest are connected, just that both seem to be occurring with people who take those boosters.
I’m not a doctor. I could be wrong. But I won’t be taking the shots in the near future. Even if I ignore all the bad things that I have heard from doctors themselves, I’ve seen too many bad result from my own friends who took the boosters.
Over here where I live, one of my friends is with Kaiser. He was having some kind of a problem and he went to make an appointment with his doctor. They told him that he was booked for 9 months. Finally, after arguing with them, he finally said “OK, just give me an appointment with another doctor”. They told him that all the doctors are booked for about 9 months.
Finally, he knew one of the head nurses at another hospital, a highly trained RN(who he knew from church) and asked her what was going on. She told him that Kaiser is down by 47% of their doctors and nurses who quit rather than take that booster in that particular medical facility.
When soldiers and policemen step down from their careers because they don’t want to take the shot, it’s probably because they’ve heard bad things about it or maybe somebody in their family had a bad experience. But when doctors and nurses step down, this is their career. They are in the know. They know things that we don’t know.
If you feel that the boosters are safe, go ahead and take the booster. But they’ll have to force me. I have had too many friends with too many bad results.

Admittedly, I’m not a doctor but there are a lot of highly trained professionals who will disagree with you. There are people all over the country who are losing their careers because they don’t want to take the booster and I have friends who took it and have had horrible results. Because the government says that it is safe means nothing to me because I don’t believe anything that the government says anymore.
