USC Notes: Defensive Injuries To Start Camp

The Big Ten is considering expanding from 2-4 teams, potentially adding Oregon, Washington, Cal and Stanford.

The Big Ten does not want to expand unless there is more movement with the Big 12 and Pac-12 first because it doesn’t want to be viewed as destroying the Pac-12.

Statement from Big Ten: “The Big Ten Conference is still focused on integration of USC and UCLA but it’s also commissioner’s job to keep conference chancellors and presidents informed about new developments as they occur.”

  • Riley said transfer Christian Roland-Wallace is capable of playing cornerback, nickelback or safety.
  • Linebacker Raesjon Davis suffered a hand injury at the second practice and rush end Romello Height has a “small nick” according to Lincoln Riley.

“We’ll get (Davis) back here in the second half of camp,” Riley said.

USC is fairly deep at inside linebacker with Mason Cobb, Eric Gentry and Shane Lee fighting for playing time and freshman Tackett Curtis also at the spot.

    1. Don’t be alarmed, CS, the football talk is only a temporary diversion
Scott will next be debating whether SC’s uniforms should be a more bold yellow

      3. I have never seen anyone on any blog —sports or political —go so far out of his way to alienate everyone else 24/7. I think gotry22/MG is monetarily motivated. At least that would make some kind of sense — otherwise, the course of conduct we’re seeing is completely irrational

It is a fairly common (and can be severe) mental illness: about 0.32% of the population suffers from it. [Let’s see. There were 331 million Americans in the 2020 Census. I don’t believe they diagnose it (for sure) until one’s late teenage years, so let’s apply it to those Americans and Traitors like Fake Gabby 18 and over. Google says that 258 million Americans are 18 years old & older: 258 million x 0.0032 = 825,600 people adults who suffer from paranoid schizophrenia, just like Fake Gabby.

It’s typical for plow horse to call your comments BS and offer up some alternative facts. If he’s gaining no traction he’ll pivot to one of his greatest hits “School teachers are bad, they are trying to turn third graders into being gay and encourage transgender.”

The fact is, 99.9% of teachers are teaching reading, writing, and math and have no time for that so-called “wokeness”.Plow will continue to drink his Kool-Aid and we will continue to laugh at him.

The fool was making racist comments again and I called him out, it crushed his fragile ego. He wants me to drive from Vegas and meet him at some boxing gym in LA, so he can get a piece of me(what an idiot, I know!). Now you have fake gabby calling me a coward because I will not beat up some old man at a boxing gym.

  1. It’s football, guys are going to get hurt. It always is amazing how guys are still standing at the end of a 12-game college season as everybody has been nicked up

–Was a bit surprised that there was little to no reaction to the
Boermeeser decision yesterday that effectively killed his case.

It set an interesting precedence or at least solidified previously accepted civil rights rules, that college women’s complaints of sexual or violence against them will be handled by the school differently than by the “outside” world. It is a protective device for women that is used to hasten along some kind of decision as to whether the accused man is ‘guilty or not.’ It is a civil matter, not criminal, and the right to confront and cross-examine witnesses against you is not always required in a college setting.

Yes, there is the occasional ‘Wrongful Accusation’ by a female of a male, but those incidents are rare and 90% of the time the complaints are justified, that something wrongful took place.

Boermeester’s team chose to explain a difficult fact situation that included one witness stating that what he saw Boermeester doing to his girlfriend at the time incited him so much that
“I wanted to kick the [stuffings[ out of him”

    1. Agree with your statement LJ with respect to the college rules being different but I don’t think this is fair. A USC education and diploma is an incredibly valuable asset. I don’t think it should be sacrificed based on the unexamined testimony of the female accuser. There is a real potential for abuse given the one sided nature of the proceedings. Does anyone get to examine the accuser such as a member of the student or faculty disciplinary committee? Is there a burden of proof placed on the accuser?

      1. Heck, in this case there wasn’t even a female accuser. The girlfriend, a strong athlete (good sized tennis player) I believe is now his wife and stated that nothing happened other than the fact that they were play fighting. She didn’t accuse him of anything. In fact she defended him at each point in the process. Look we all understand in athlete situations many schools where football or sports is king have covered stuff in the past and victims have been intimidated. Is the rightful numbers of accusations at 90%? Eh…., maybe, probably a little less. The real problem is (and especially this case) is that many schools have created departments and headed them with activists who’s sole agenda is to create work for themselves, advance agendas, and bring in more money to be dumped into their departments at the cost of true justice. They have no care for what actually happened, they need content to justify their jobs. To me that does a disservice not only to the student body as a whole but to those who are actually truly victims because it creates true doubt in the minds of those who know how the system really works. This is not a “Victim” victimizing the accused issue. This is an institutional misconduct situation of how the established department can reach above the law to make a niche for themselves.

    2. All defendants should be allowed to cross examine the witnesses against them….it’s the best way of getting at the truth ….which is what all evidentiary hearings should be about….it’s not pleasant ….but it’s better than protecting one side at the expense of the other….

  2. A number of the Ladies of Troy defensive players are already limping into fall practice hindered by severe toenail sprains.

Is that why the USC defensive coaching staff have those girls tackling styrofoam wheels instead of each other in practice?

And they wonder why those girls can’t tackle for shit.

There is ZERO reason to let Cal into the Big 10, even if they got paid $10 it would be too much.
