Pac-12 Is Falling Apart Update

There is a Board of Regents meeting in Arizona scheduled for tomorrow night and some are speculating the University of Arizona and Arizona State could be leaving for the Big 12. By Friday.

Arizona State has previously been considered loyal to the Pac-12 but Sun Devils A.D. Ray Anderson changed his tune today.

“I remain extremely hopeful and understand personally no matter how it ends up Arizona State will be in a good spot,” he said.

If the Arizona schools go, there will be pressure on Utah to join the Big 12. That will then allow the Big Ten to pick up what it wants (Oregon, Washington, Stanford, Cal).

Who’s left? Oregon State and Washington State.

The incompetence displayed by the Pac-12 (school presidents, conference commissioners) is sad for a once-proud conference.

I’m thinking now about all the people who acted like Larry Scott was a better commissioner than Tom Hansen when the Pac-12 signed their TV deal in 2011. Those people would pretend they didn’t say that today.

  5. Phil Knight used all of his resources to get his raggedy alma mater into the Big 10. USC & UCLA should call their bluff and threaten to go independent with a TV deal with CBS and Amazon Prime. That would get more subscribers than Kliavkoff’s Circus.

    2. The US went to hell when the stupid Supreme Court said corporations could not be regulated and banned from putting money into elections. Both sides are corrupt as hell but too many people on this board only support their side as the righteous. Worse yet, they don’t even like politics but love to complain like 5 year olds begging for attention.

      1. I have followed politics since 1952 elections. I am an ardent reader of things political. It is true I read and discern all info through my understanding of the Holy Scripture.
        I agree people are corrupt as hell, as Jesus called the religious leaders who wanted Him crucified…He called them of their father the devil.
        I know killing babies, legalizing drugs, and not enforcing laws passed to protect people belongs to one party only,so one is much more corrupt than the other…you just carry on being of this world , and its ways that seem right but lead to destruction and wrath.
        Originally my comment was more about the Pac12 corruption, and its former leaders,but I did liken it to the bankruptcy of this country in ALL ways,and some one with a little knowledge and discernment can easily see it.

        Democrats support a President who won’t step down, even though his polling is not over 50%?

        Which side is really worse? Even Jesus would shake his head over these politicians. I doubt he comes back any time soon to save us from ourselves. We’d make him choose a side!

      3. Obama had similar polling numbers when he won reelection. You have the far far left not approving of Biden but when the election comes around they will not vote for a Republican. “No labels” might pose a problem for Biden

        I hope Trump’s trial is televised. the country needs to see it firsthand and experience the emotional impact of what the biggest disgrace in the history of this country was responsible for. Trump will never win the general election with a felony conviction….
