Looks Like USC’s Schedule Won’t Change As Much

After putting out a message all week that it didn’t want to be the conference that destroyed the Pac-12, the Big Ten is adding Oregon and Washington.

So this means USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington will remain the same conference.

Not quite what Coach Bohn had in mind with the Big Ten but USC saw the writing on the wall and knew there was nothing it could do about it.

And this means there is a chance we will see some 7:30 p.m. PT games again.

The more things change, the more some things remain the same.

So those 2024 and 2025 USC football schedules the Big Ten announced now have to be redrawn.

One more time: Thanks, Kliavkoff!

  1. Well, Scott, I belkeve the 2023 schedule is cast in stone
but you are right about how the 2024 schedule will have to be amended

–Got to play Oregon and Washington every year now,
which as a fan I like but it makes the road to the ‘Final-4’ tougher

      1. That’s the only thing that came to my mind- what about that lauded schedule the BIG10 just released? But seriously get over your Bohn hatred, he’s gone away like those rabbit ears on your Zenith still trying to catch Vin Scully. Think of it this way: you’ll have more rancor left for Enfield & Jed.

      1. Gatsby was a pretender, a interloper who used shady business dealings to announce himself to the Upstate New Yorkers who were as maliciously flawed as he were. All were pretending to be morally, conscientious individuals but in the end their pettiness and selfishness ended up being exposed by the one person who had the lowest social standing: the innocent bystander.

    1. USC will be lucky to have a .500 conference record their first 3 years in the BIG-18 or whatever it is. Basketball is going to be a disaster for all the PAC-Exodus teams. It’s going to take a while to get used to the physicality.

I do hope the PAC-Exodus refs end up in the Mountain West or whatever the no-name conferences are going to be.

  2. I just have to vent. And scream. And lock myself in a room because of all the murderous intent that I’m feeling right now. Adding Oregon and Washington makes no sense for the B1G. But it makes sense if they want to keep getting Nike and Jordan money. So Phil Knight bluffed them into taking his raggedy, cross-dressing no history school into relevance. They would have sued to get into the Big 10. EEEAauaHHHyyHHHHhuuugggcccccclllmmmm.

  3. Did somebody mention NIL in the last segment–

Actually, things are at least being talked about at the government level.
    Suggestions are:
    1. Create a registration process for agents who will be representing college athletes and NIL-collectives
    2. Develop a standardized contract for NIL deals
    3. Have disclosure requirements for athletes and companies that provide NIL compensation.

Of course words are cheap, and some of this stuff is going to be a tough-go in implementing

    1. They just need to cut out the pay for play deals for high school recruits and make it about real NIL, where the athletes get deals based on their actual marketing value or participation in some other type of activity (like events).

They definitely need to stop a few large donors from just writing checks. That isnt NIL.

      1. Agree gametv they just need to regulate NIL, and let corrupt politicians right a bill that states and makes each school reveal what they are paying players.

    2. And the Stupidly Supreme Court just ruled that colleges cannot have categorical affirmative action programs for admission into private or public universities. Any thug-er, concerned parent can sue the NCAA and the institution for denial of entry by way of compensation loss, in other words, Lloyd Lake could sue USC on behalf of a prospective student by claiming that his “client” was denied full compensation in a system that the NCAA deregulated and therefore doesn’t oppose students getting unlimited money to attend a school to play a sport. You cannot cap compensation for an affirmative action plan for student-athletes. It would be the same as Harvard and UNC telling white males “sorry, we prefer the darker students to you in order to rectify our past transgressions.”

      1. Give it rest Eight (8) Ball. Who gives a Shit except you. Here something the bozo BB bandwagoner’s might be interest in:

The Bruins have finally signed a well prepared Aday Mara, a 7-foot-3 center from Spain. That has just got to stoke Andyainwinning. Maybe Enfield will have his #1, 6’3″ point guard, guard Aday Mara during the regular season.

TW, can you conjugate bozo BB SUCC’s?

  4. Washington Oregon joining Big means 2 things. 1. The Big has 2 streaming partners they will announce out of nowhere. 2. Stanford n ND will be added to juice up the Big as the Mecca Conference of Historic Blue bloods of College FB. Take that Shankey!!!!!!! This expansion is getting to a point where in 10 years all games will be subscription based each year cable tv keeps losing customers. More teams in one conference doesn’t mean better quality? Just more money from the average Joe to pay.

      high-quality

      2. Sparrow this is capitalism at it’s worst with expansion fever. If my prediction model comes to fruition then there will be Superteams parity across each super conference. The 3 top teams will have 3 losses making the 12 team playoffs muddled up again with who beat who n where. The same old bs will continue until they come with a scheduling model that doesn’t favor certain schools. Wink Wink ditto GA Ala LSU OSU. I would probably prefer that because every game will be played intensity. #WarFor ParityExpansionWithNILAKANCAA

      3. Agree. We’re not gonna see undefeated teams in the playoffs in 2024. It’s gonna be kill or be killed practically EVERY Saturday —-and I think that’s nice….

      4. Sparrow now it’s official Oregon Dogs in, look out FSU, or Miami NC Virginia might be the next if they can reduce the exit fee by litigation. The Big would be the only conference with a footprint in NY, LA media markets. The Southeast and Northwest. Smart it will be a game changer for the Big expanding it’s recruiting base.

  5. AZ and Utah looks headed to Big12 which is great. Thing is the idiot that is president at ASU is bogging things down because he was such a rah rah supporter of Larry Scott and now is afraid to lose face in saying they have to go along with AZ. Where do these idiots come from. All I have heard was Oregon and WA got marked down to 50% off the going share. Love it.

    1. FYI since 10/24 1998, Oregon vs bozo FB have met 17 times.

      Oregon is 11- 7

Conversely, SUCC pussy FB is a pathetic 7 – 11. Is it any wonder Clown U is against Oregon joining the Big-18.

Clown U FB just can help we give, bend over in competitive FB games.

      Cue: Alabama 52 – bozo FB 6 (Zip TD’s)

Seven games against division opponents and one game intradivision. Allows the same format approved to stay in place with the added bonus of bringing down flight/distance costs. You could switch the Michigan schools with the Illinois schools but this format allows the OG three to avoid a murderous schedule of the ex-Pac schools + two top B1G dogs for a top-heavy schedule.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the Pac/Crap comes back in three years under an equity investment firm created by the B1G.

    1. Love ,PAC/ CRAP, This World. I’m with if they go to non divisions it’s going to be a murderous row each year. I want to see these players compete at the highest semi-pro amateur level like they do at those summer camps where rankings rise or fall. Did Georgia Southern game get replaced yet, sorry Gomer we don’t have time for a gloried practice game.

FYI, Medulla Shortfall, there are numerous videos of Aday Mara’s Game featured on the internet. I mean Mara has, for at least the last 9 months, been a 100%, UCLA BB recruit. Only a blind 4th stooge(Like you) would be totally ignorant of the 7’3″ Mara’s special BB abilities.

Hey wannabe, why didn’t your superhero go pro like Luka Doncic? I’ll await your stupid ass excuse. Do you know which assistant coach recruited him? It wasn’t Chip Kelly. Stick bot won’t play center. $100 he’ll get hurt in practice before the season starts. By the way, when I talk to him, I’ll tell him don’t steal, especially when in China.

Yeah MG, I bet no B-10 BB fans ever sat as part of a 345 attendance figure that commonly occurs at games at the bozo BB court, quaintly known as the ‘Galen Chicken Coop.” What money Clown U always loses on the opening the Chicken Coop to the regular weeny crowd, it recoups with the resale of tons of Andyain’twinning’s fresh BB chicken shit.

BTW MG, why was bonny transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center instead of Klunk Gun & Knife Clown U Hospital?

Just asking for inquiring bozos who want of know the mysterious reason. Was Klunk not good enough hospital for bonny, the bozo BB, 7 star “A” list celebrity.

#Are the Greek’s piss bonny tain’t making the bozo cupcake BB exhibition trip.
