Big-Time Recruit Flips To Oregon

When Dakoda Fields of Serra High School committed to USC in June, I wrote that he wanted to go to Oregon.

Well, Fields flipped his commitment to the Ducks tonight.

He’s a tall (6-2), athletic cornerback and I wrote back in June he was the biggest commitment of the month for USC. Some Pac-12 schools thought he was better than Serra’s prized corner, Rodrick Pleasant.

What is this? Two June commits that have flipped already? Commitments are worthless.

  1. Another Riley FAIL, not to mention the fucking useless DB coach Dante the Dipshit whose biggest claim to fame is his supposed recruiting prowess

I hope SC is able to recruit well without paying high school players but it’s going to be hard if everyone starts doing it. Oregon, Auburn, Florida State and many others are throwing money at these H.S. recruits. Money talks!!! Everything else walks!!! The recruits tend to follow the green stuff.

  3. It could be the money, but fanboys dance around the issue that Lincoln Riley has a reputation of statically being a one dimensional coach and his D assistants are poor at developing players. Sorry, living on the portal is not gonna be sustainable. Unless something drastic happens this season, its going to get worse, especially when we start playing in the big boy conference.

    1. LFOL, why just yesterday 8/6, Dear Pisley, SUCC’s official rah-rah AH was giving me a large ration of shit, claiming via a BS, twitter post, that UCLA’s Dante Moore was close to xfering from UCLA due to NIL problems.

Dante Moore put that load of BS to rest quickly. Dante loves UCLA and has zero plan to xfer.

Apparently Dear Pisley forgot his own #1 rule: “Facts Matter”

And then, and then, on the very next day, a prime bozo defensive DB recruit, 6’2″ Dakoda Fields is flipped and decommits from the stinking bozo FB program, for greener (no pun intended) Oregon pastures.

Where the F**K is Dear Pisley, Mr. BS today? Noooo doubt he’s hiding in his tiny SFV gopher hole trying desperately to remove his foots from his big, fat mouth and his thumb from his kazoo.

Hey MG, auld stick, I’m saying it again and loving it; bozo FB goes 8 – 4 if they’re lucky.

BTW, some of the rah-rah’s MG are deserting the crummy, LR/The Destroyer leaking dingy.

LR, what a $10 million bozo FB misunderstanding. I wonder, would C. Holt be OK with reemploying the now dried out, offensive genius, SARK?

      1. Just Rent,

Was Moore promised to be the head dishwasher at the McDonald’s that you work at which was the job that you coveted the most and is that the reason that he is staying at ugly?

    1. I’m loving it. I just can’t help LOL when Clown U FB caps itself in da’ feet’s.

Commie Lush is right on; Clown U FB will regret joining the B-18.

SUCC leaves the P-12 the largest fish in a small pond, to join the B-18 as a paltry sardine in a large, competitive pond.

        SC 13
        Ohio St 10

        SC 6
        Michigan 1

Sounds like SC might be the shark in that Big-18 pond

You probably don’t know this, because of your drunken stuper, but SC has a winning record against ohio st, michigan, nebraska, northwestern, wisconsin, and ugly. BTW, what is uglies recored against nd? I will tell ya , ugly is ZERO FOR FOUR. U CLOWNS LOSE AGAIN.

  4. Of course past “dominance” by SC over the Ohio St-Michigan teams
has nothing to do with 2024 where the games are 50-50

  5. This one hurts. Dakota Fields has first round NFL potential. I think he made a huge mistake. Even if Donte is only a mediocre DB coach, he will develop by competing every day against the best receiving corps in college football. So Oregon likely gave him a signing bonus. But the Oregon market is limited and therefore any legitimate NIL will be limited. And he loses out on the prestige of a USC diploma and the power associated with the SC alumni base in his home town. It ain’t over. His parents wanted him to go to SC and mom’s usually win out.

  6. Owns, your need to revel in USC misery is sad. Two players choose not to go to USC. They will be replaced. Your insignificance cannot be changed. What brings a smile to my face is seeing Lincoln Riley’s success help USC back to the top and you must witness the return to glory. I’m glad Moore got what he was promised, he had to speak up or those cheap bastards at UCLA would have stiffed him. Scream all you want into the wind, drink some cranberry juice to ease your pain.

  7. We’re crying over a kid who hasn’t played a down of college football?
If we want to say something we need to do something. This season will say it all. Go big or go home. The reason we’re number 6 in most polls is our unwavering commitment to losing games well in hand. Beat the Green machine we’re number 5. Beat Utah we’re number 4. Lose those games and we ain’t number two, and I’m not referring to the polls here.
Just go out and do the talking on the field, no excuses, no should’ve could’ve would’ve just win. If you build it they will come is only true if you build it.
This kid wasn’t the “one” he’s just a talking point. Get over it.

  8. All that matters is what happens on the field this year. Commitments at this point in time dont mean alot. USC might continue to be more of a transfer portal winner, rather than a high school player winner.

NIL is still a huge issue, Oregon is playing the game of buying players. I wonder if the BIG 10 and SEC will get together to implement rules that stop the pay-for-play to high school students.
