I don’t think Helton had a loyal bone in his body, he couldn’t attract and/or identify good talent to work with him, and he and Swann jettisoned multiple assistant coaches every other year.
We’ll see about Riley and Grinch at the end of this year. If the D doesn’t have a big turnaround, I suspect Grinch will be gone. Personally, I see the secondary as the big issue. Rush defense and D-line look a lot better. Riley inherited a dumpster fire from the Village Idiot, he improved the team faster than I thought he could.
