USC Notes: Stat Of The Day

During the USC-Stanford, USC analyst Kliff Kingsbury was shown talking to Caleb Williams on the sideline.

I tweeted Kingsbury is not supposed to be talking to Williams, because he is only an analyst, but no one really worries about that rule.

But a source in the athletic dept. told me a school tried to turn Kingsbury in for the rules violation. Has anyone seen Kingsbury on TV in recent games? Has he talked to Williams?

  • USC has the second-worst rushing defense in the Pac-12, allowing 157 yards per game. The only worse run defense is Colorado. The Trojans rank 90th nationally. Lincoln Riley didn’t mention that during his spirited defense of the defense.
  • USC was picked second in the Pac-12 preseason men’s basketball poll.

  1. That’s right, there is still a Pac-12 basketball season to get through prior to it turning into the ‘Pac-2’

157 rushing yards a game SC is surrendering; I bet the Irish believe they can double that

SC violating the rules again?- I have never been
a ‘Rules-and-Regulations’ guy but didn’t SC get into a ‘vat of hot NCAA oil’ recently for rules-breaking?

      1. Thanks for the laugh, Frank, you nailed it. The troll ran everyone off the blog with his constant Gabby and Biden rants. So he pivots to a voice in his head that says blame it all on Charlie Bucket. I am actually getting some enjoyment out of his obsession with Charlie.

The daily news is such a barometer for LA sports. Tennis boy, Ball Brothers, and Mora have done so much for LA sports.

      1. slo pa-troll, you know what stalking and obsessed looks like- 78 consecutive posts mentioning or directed at Gabby.

Obsess: preoccupy or fill the mind of (someone) continually, intrusively, and to a troubling extent.

Stalk: 1. pursue or approach stealthily. 2. harass or persecute (someone) with unwanted and obsessive attention.

Take your own advice, you sound like a hypocrite; “but several people have suggested So Cal seek psychiatric help!! He is in some serious denial.”

THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS, THE BLOG FREAK!

      2. Charlie Bucket used to be fun and good natured in his ribbing SC Fans but at some point he had a mental breakdown and degenerated into a mean old man.

Bring back the nice Charlie Bucket!

  2. Scooter,

Who is running the AD? Jen Cohen is a puppet to someone. She has not addressed the football team, its status, its coaches, nor its future. Well, it is 2:41 P.M. Pasadena time, so I guess she has to get ready for tea and crumpets. Pathetic.

  3. I’ll bet you called the coach to tell him to turn USC in so that you would have another negative thing to write about USC. Do you really hate USC so much. I’m not a psychiatrist. but my diagnosis is that you have a deep-seated sense of inferiority that can only be medicated by trying to tear down a great institution like USC.

  4. Funny thing is even with an SC loss to out-of-conference ND
there still is a path to the “Final-4” if SC sweeps the Pac-12
which of course is ‘not out of the question’
