Apparently, Mediocrity Is Acceptable

Maybe the dumbest thing Lincoln Riley said today concerned recruiting.

“I think our recruiting has been as expected,” Riley said.
USC is currently ranked No. 25 in the nation by Rivals. Since when is that as expected? We’re talking about USC, not Oregon State.

The truth is USC’s recruiting has mainly been done through the transfer portal. So Riley is crazy if he thinks it’s “as expected” since he has been at USC.

      That year the team gave up 40 or more pts. in only one game…vs Utah.

      Grinch, Shaun Nua and Donte Williams have given up over 40 pts. in 3 of the last 4 games

  5. I’m not happy with the way things have unfolded this year but let’s see how the Pac12 versus the Big12 duo heading for the SEC do the next 4 weeks. LR may be more aware of where the squad is then all of us as.

  9. Scott Wolf way more hawkish on Lincoln Riley after 1.5 years than he he ever was on Clay Helton from 2015-2021 (same could be said of Bill Plaschke, LA Times, and the Fan Boys).
