Zion Branch Suffers Season-Ending Injury

Safety Zion Branch, who made his first start of the season against Cal, suffered a season-ending knee injury, Lincoln Riley said.

Riley said it was “related” to the knee injury Branch suffered last year that caused him to miss the 2022 season.

Presumably, Bryson Shaw and when he returns from injury, Max Williams, will play safety.

    1. Per PFF, over his last 140 snaps Zion missed zero tackles. That’s great considering the rest of the D tackles poorly
