It’s the sort of game several fans have told me they stopped watching. Even though USC is still within two TDs.

OK, Oregon just the game away with a TD End of third quarter: Oregon 29, USC 14.

Another fumble as Caleb Williams and Austin Jones fumble an exchange.

Oregon goes right down the field for a touchdown and no one covers the receiver in end zone. Ducks 29, Trojans 14.

It’s so bad I’ve wondered if USC misses Clancy Pendergast.

Oregon penalties stopped what looked like a TD drive. Oregon 22, USC 7.

USC fantastic at defending 2-point plays tonight.

Can’t cover the tight end. Touchdown! Oregon 19-7.

End of first quarter: Oregon 13, USC 7

Bo Nix: 2-2, 161 yards, 2 TDs. QB rating 1106.2.

Caleb Williams is improvising like crazy and that leads to a USC touchdown. Trojans 7, Ducks 7.

A 77-yard TD pass on the first series for Oregon. Good thing Alex Grinch got fired.

Christian Roland is questionable, which is bad news for the defense.

Eric Gentry, Jaylin Smith, Ceyair Wright and Jacobe Covington also appear out. Again, the strength program . . .

  1. The route concepts are way too deep and take too long for this offensive line. Along with receivers not working back to the QB. With 3 receivers coaches you’d think one of them could teach that concept. Air raid is arrogant about running to open green then nothing from there. But when your line can’t protect your QB is going to get killed.

  2. Troy Franklin, one of those California kids, among the fastest in the nation, that Stinkin’ Riley doesn’t need. Bon Appétit every other program, California is yours.

  3. Well there is obviously a huge difference taking over a team from Bob Stoops and taking over a team from Clay Helton. Riley getting worse every game.

  4. This is hard to watch. Every USC fan already knows we cant win this game. Oregon is stronger, faster and knows where they are supposed to be on the field.

  5. Riley is shit, taking it up the ass by the refs and he likes it…fire his ass!

  6. I notice the o line just barely trying. Jonah Monheim is even getting beat consistently. Henson needs to be fired. Any coach that cant motivate his players with someone like Caleb putting his all on the line every single play deserves to be fired.

  7. If you supported Stinkin Piley being hired, sunshine pumped, made excuses, blamed the players, etc. slap yourself.

It’s Stinkin Piley and his fraud offense that also destroys any chance of having a functional defense, and wastes the talent and careers of players. It’s another chapter of USC being the place that talent goes to die.

Stinkin Riley has lost this team! Look at the players! You can’t fix that.

Helton Riley, Stinkin Lincoln, can’t win any game that matters ever, and struggles just to get wins against far less talented teams.

    1. OK, I bitched slapped myself. I admit it. I thought he walked on water. I never watched OU play.

Seems the new AD needs to sit down with Riley and make sure most of the staff is fired. This isnt only a defensive problem. The o-line is pathetic. Of course, the excuse for the o-line is that they practice against that terrible d-line.

Amazing USC is only down by one TD.

  9. What’s laughable is that they have Taylor Mays on the sidelines. LOL Built like Tarzan💉, plays like Jane, except the dirty hits. There was a place for dirty hits to intimidate during his time though Mays couldn’t cover for sht, and his attempt at the big hit also came with missed tackles and lots of penalties. But why would that player EVER be coaching? Maybe he can show kids where to get dope like he did…

    1. I remember Taylor Mays being pissed cuz Pete Carroll took Earl Thomas over Mays. Worked out pretty well for Pete & Seahawks defense 🙂.
Mays could run super fast in a straight line and that was it!!

  10. Wish the team was as ornery and full of fight as the posters here…Heritage Hall seems like Parthenon at this point (a testament to past glory that is nice to look at but no longer relevant).

      1. I would take a long hard look at that Iowa DC. Also, Dave Aranda from Baylor may be available. He could get fired. SC played better tonight than I thought they would. Where was Eric Gentry tonight? I never saw him in there for one play. Bringing back Alex Grench…..BIG MISTAKE!!!!!

  11. What’s lost is all LRs defenses year after year play like this. He’s literally normalized it. I’ll just score more. We did not research this hire because we just wanted Helton gone.

    1. Not sure why defense is so bad.
They seem slow, out of position and get freaking killed on the edge.

Maybe the kids just don’t care.

They have 4 year scholie and NIL $.

College football is a dead concept.

      1. You’re running out of material. You repeated the same insult in this blogs comments.

I do have a question for you – what are you even trying to accomplish on here? It seems like this blog is the most important thing in your life.

  13. Caleb is still superman. One of the sad things though is looking at how he looks to Stinkin Piley for answers– the guy still has belief and follows that fraud even though he knows things aren’t right and what he’s been led to believe. Stinkin Piley is hurting our guys.

  14. This game was not as close as the score reflects. Oregon went into cruise control halfway in the third quarter and USC never really threatened them. Also add to the fact that Oregon left five points on the field.
