USC Night Notes: Changing Of Guard

Patrick Auerbach is out at USC after 23 years. He was Associate Senior Vice President for Alumni Relations and was behind the controversial plan that dissolved the regional alumni groups in 2020. More than 70 USC alumni club officials wrote a letter opposing the plan.

That plan had the full support of USC president Carol Folt but Auerbach’s abrupt departure suggests things soured sometime during the past three years.

    1. How many applicants from the inner cities across the country have been willing to work hard, made a choice to try and better their lives after having been afforded free education for 18 years, provided free of charge by the U.S. taxpayer and Federal Government?

        Agree So Cal: Only Gabby posting as Tebow would say “I don’t give a flying fuck how any of you clowns feel about me.” Does “clowns” sound familiar. But what about the second paragraph wherein he says “You’ve been getting slapped around and you’re having a helluva time trying to deal with it.” Hell, the only thing missing is the reference to a pinata. Nobody else uses the term “slapped around” on a daily basis.

        And what about the next Tebow/Gabby post: Have we heard “pulling his groin muscle” from Gabby before? He thinks it’s sexual so the pervert will keep posting it. And who other than Tebow/Gabby uses such sophisicated language as “they cracked him over the head with a coconut.” Arguably, that is even more lame than calling Pacific Islanders “pineapple heads.” Only fifth graders on the slow readers track use this type of language.         My father grew up in the depression. His family could not afford to feed him so he had to live in an orphanage for a time. He was essentially on his own at age 14 and served in Korea at age 17 and earned a bronze star for valor in combat along with two purple hearts. He had 5 children in 7 years, the first 4 all boys. I was the youngest boy. My father taught mental and physical toughness indeed along with the responsibility of men to protect and provide for their family. He would never allow an insult like you have leveled against my wife and mother to go unrequited. You remain in my cross hairs my special friend. This is not over.

        By the way, did your father teach mental toughness? Did you ever have a wife or daughter? Did you ever feel an obligation to protect them or can any internet yoyo say whatever they want about them without consequence. I still want a piece of your ass.

  3. So the USC band has sent oit letters to alumni asking if they would be willing to perform in the band for the Holiday bowl. Supposedly the shortage of current band members is due to these snowflakes being unwilling to participate for bullshit reasons such as too tired, spending time with friends and family over the holidays, need a break, etc.

    Why did these snowflakes sign up for the band in the first place if they aren’t fully committed.

    The current USC drum major started this shit about skipping performing events, saying she needed to study in order to back out of band events.

    They should have tossed her out the minute she started pulling her crap
