Notes: Is Will Howard USC’s Best Bet?

QB Cam Ward just visited Miami and is going to visit Florida State next. Maybe Will Howard is USC’s best hope in the portal.

Washington is going to host Mississippi State QB Will Rogers this weekend. Given the Huskies’ coaching staff’s ability to develop a QB, this should immediately increase Rogers’ stock.

  • Washington is also hosting Mississippi State tailback Jo’Quavious Marks, who is being recruited by USC. He rushed for 573 yards and averaged 4.7 yards per carry for the Bulldogs this season.
  • USC is hosting South Carolina tailback Mario Anderson tonight. He rushed for more than 700 yards and averaged 4.9 yards per carry in 2023.
  • USC outside hitter Skylar Fields of was named a 2023 AVCA First-Team All-American. She is a two-time women’s volleyball All-American for USC.
  • USC’s last day of finals is today. That means practice can resume for the Holiday Bowl and the big basketball game at Auburn on Sunday.

    Here’s where the difference comes in, if we wanted to post a “picture only” copied from Twitter, we right-click copy and paste the link into a blog post… BUT!!!!!… it only appears as a link that we must click on that takes us to Twitter to view the picture.

    What Scott, grabbbyy and slo cal can do is embed the picture in a post where the picture is present as you view their post and you don’t have to click on a link like we would have to do.

    The ability to embed is reserved only for the blog author. There is no other way to embed a picture or GIF. grabbbyy and slo cal are aliases Scott has been using.

    These fools can lie all they want. But WordPress limits embedding to only the administrator/author of the blog….

    2. We’ll know more after the bowl. If Moss throws for 400 yards, then maybe they will want to go with the QB’s that they have. As far as LR not doing so well in the portal…..His reputation has been damaged thanks to the Grench catastrophe. Until he rebuilds his reputation, his recruiting will not be that good.

Looks like a decent tickets sales for the 3rd Annual LA Bowl….went to the 1st one OR St . vs UT St.. last year they stupidly started the fame at 1 pm …. back to a 4:30 pm kickoff….hungry cold Boise St. Bronco fans and maybe some brewies will finally attend…expect over 55k maybe approaching high 60s.
