USC Morning Buzz: Will Howard To Visit Ohio State

Kansas State QB Will Howard will take an official visit to Ohio State, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.

Howard has visited USC, Miami and is still considering the NFL Draft. If you watched the Cotton Bowl, you might remember ESPN announcer Dave Pasch say the Ohio State coaches were adamant they would not take a QB in the transfer portal.

I don’t know who believed that comment but the coaches apparently made a lightning quick turnaround.

If Howard does not turn pro, he probably was encouraged by his chances of starting at Ohio State. The Buckeyes’ quarterbacks — Devin Brown and Lincoln Kienholz — passed for 106 yards and completed 10 of 24 passes.

Would you rather deal with that or Miller Moss?

  • USC has offered a scholarship to Oregon State wide receiver Silas Bolden.

  1. You act as if Miller Moss is a bad thing. Behind an average line and weak defense he managed a win impressively. I should think you are happy to have a winning quarterback on the team.

    1. I don’t think that’s what he’s saying at all. He’s complimenting Moss. He’s saying, from Will Howard’s perspective, would you rather compete against a weak Ohio State QB room, or against a strong Miller Moss.

      1. We do have too many wide receivers but competition brings out the best in everyone……..That’s if you got unlimited scholarships.
