Kliff Kingsbury To Interview With Chicago Bears

Kliff Kingsbury is expected to interview for the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator job, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Because he did such a great job with Caleb Williams at USC, right?

It makes sense Kingsbury would get some looks to be an NFL offensive coordinator. And this would probably be endorsed by Williams, if the Bears intend to draft him.

The truth is you probably want Kingsbury/Lincoln Riley as a coordinator and not a head coach, then you don’t have to worry about the defense.

  1. USC’s football failures are Lincoln Riley’s fault, first and foremost. At least he’s showing a sound change of course. I can’t understand why so many people want to blame Caleb Williams for USC’s failure when we all know that the staff simply was not capable. Shame on you. That’s like blaming Reggie Bush for losing the national championship game against Texas when Pete Carroll had no business running Norm Chow out of town. Myopic like COVID-19 scientists.

Fun fact, the Wuhan lab has mutated the COVID virus so well that it attacks the brain in mice and kills said mice in 6 days and their eyes turn white, thank you Dr. Faucci, WHO and the rest of the world who turned and turn a blind eye to these cocksuckers.

    1. I am blaming Caleb.
Caleb had been groomed for many years before he ever came to USC. His problem wasnt that he wasnt “coached up” at USC, he had all the talent in the world. The problem is all psychological. He didnt keep his feet on the ground. He said ridiculous things, like he wanted to throw a perfect game where he completed every pass. His need for perfection become his biggest liability. Throw the damn ball Caleb!!!

His emotional roller coasters didnt help teammates. I am guessing he didnt do what anyone told him in running the offense.

Riley was stuck. He couldnt take Caleb out of the game, but he couldnt make him better. The offense went hot and cold with Caleb’s mood and in the end, he wore out his teammates. At the end of the Holiday Bowl, Jaylin Smith said ‘we are finally a team’, or something to that effect. When your teammates rally with a new QB, the QB is the problem.

Riley is owning his mistake in keeping Grinch. USC fans will soon forget Celeb.

      1. When Caleb [literally] fluttered his eyes & murmured, “a lot of people would like to be in these size twelve & a half shoes”, I realized he possessed the level of self-importance of an Angelina Jolie or a Brad Pitt. He needs to cut the crap [which I don’t think he can do] before he starts camp with the Bears. No football team is gonna put up with that shit.

      2. MG – I think Caleb uses drugs. Maybe I am wrong here, but I watched the Pac-12 media day interview and he could barely put together sentences that made sense. He isnt dumb. He looked high to me.

Maybe I am 100% wrong. Hope so.

    2. He had no business not calling a house blitz either, against Texas. Especially with everyone knowing, but him. That Vince Young was going to run the ball and try to win the game himself.

    3. Running Norm Chow out of town hurt USC in the long run but not in 2005. In 2005, SC had the best offense in the country and Norm Chow wasn’t there. They averaged 579.8 yards per game. The 2nd place team in the nation was a distant 2nd at 519.1 yards per game. The problem in 2005 was a defense that couldn’t stop Vince Young. SC gained 574 yards in that Texas game. But they gave up 556 yards to Texas….467 to Vince Young alone. They lost that game because the defense couldn’t stop VY.

      1. IMO, the game came down to 4th and 2……And White gets stopped short of the first down. Which would have allowed USC to run out the clock. VY was great that night but USC needed two yards to seal the deal and failed

      2. Let’s remember, Reggie was not in the game for the 4th and 2. Who takes the player of the year off the field for a 4th and 2?! At least line him up as a receiver as a decoy.

      3. SC should have won that game anyway. When you are ahead 38-26 with 6 minutes left, you should win. That’s won of the few times PC ever lost a big game.

      4. In 2005 those two idiots Kiffin and Sarkisian shared the offensive play calling duty, they had Norm Chow’s playbook and screwed it all up. Matt Leinart said in an interview that he audible out of the plays that those two idiots Kiffin and Sarkisian were sending in 85 % of the time. Leinart wasn’t about to listen to those two clowns, if he had USC never would have made it to the title game. Kiffin was the one who lost the game vs Texas, he was adamant about calling the plays, threw a tantrum and Pete gave in and told Leinart to trust Kiffin and not audible so much and the rest is history. Kiffin was crying and balling his eyes out like a little bitch after the loss, he knew he screwed up and lost the game.
