USC Squanders Maximum TV Exposure

USC played Arizona State today. That game would normally be buried on the Pac-12 Network or a Fox secondary channel but today’s game was on the big Fox Network (Channel 11).

Naturally, the Trojans laid an egg, losing 82-67.

But the bigger point is Bronny James gave USC what might be unprecedented TV coverage this season. USC played Arizona on Wednesday on ESPN. Last weekend’s Colorado game was on ESPN2. The Washington State game before that was on ESPN2.

Next Saturday’s game vs. UCLA is on ESPN2 and then the Oregon game is on ESPN. The season opener was on TNT.

This golden opportunity for a team some thought might contend for the Pac-12 title has completely been wasted, of course.

USC is near the botton of the Pac-12 standings with a 2-6 conference record.

    1. The fact that he’s breaking radio silence shows the heat is turning up. Good. We’re at a position now to pursue a superior coach- he’s gone as far as he ever will at SC.

      1. A lot of people think that Millers bowl game is scaring other QB’s off. It shouldn’t scare off Juju Lewis. It really should encourage him to come to SC. He says he wants to come to SC to be developed by LR. Well when LR’s regular QB sits out a bowl game and his 2nd stringer comes into the game and throws for 373 yards and 6 TD’s, that should tell him that under LR all the QB’s get developed.

  1. USC is not a “basketball school” so who cares. UCLA men’s BB are facing more pressure. USC needs to do everything it can to be a legit Top 5 FOOTBALL program every year!

  2. He showed his inability to prepare a team back in 2021 when those poor kids must have been strapped into his own emotional turmoil. He’s had more than enough seasons – 11 years. Time to be rid of him.

  3. Andy Enfield and staff have done a terrible job with this year’s basketball team. Despite the injuries this team is still poorly coachef, and plays zero defense. Enfield, is not a good teacher, leader, or motivator for kids, and although his recruiting record has been good his players don’t improve except for the one year wonders who jump to the NBA after 1 season. Right now this team is embarrassing to watch. Should USC consider making a change probably as I do think many of his star players who don’t go to the NBA will transfer next season. Street ball does not win basketball games.
