Yes, There Is An Andy Reid-USC Connection

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid wanted to go to USC and enrolled at Glendale College on the recommendation of Trojans coaches. Reid didn’t get any Division I offers when he graduated from Marshall High School in Los Angeles.

Reid eventually went to BYU after spending two years at Glendale College (1976-77).

Reid was a graduate assistant at BYU in 1982. Who else was on that staff? Norm Chow.

      2. Just think , we had Matt Leinart at QB, one of the greatest college QBs of all time, and he could have thrown to our great TE Dominique Byrd, our great WRs Dwyane Jarrett and Steve Smith, our great FB David Kirtman, or RB Reggie Bush.

      3. Grabby —With the o-line we had, with everybody from Texas playing close to the line, with Leinart at QB and Jarret at wide….that would have been the way to go [we went balls out on 4th and 9 at Notre Dame and things worked out pretty well, no]?

  5. Mike was in my class at Birmingham High School and was big for that time at 235 and was a very nice giant of a man who saved that 1967 OJ game with an extraordinary down field recoverry of an SC fumble
