USC Notes: Someone Wants Pete Carroll Back

Snoop Dogg said last week on the Pat McAfee show that he wanted Pete Carroll back at USC.

“What I would like to see Pete do is go back to ‘SC and restore order,” he said.

What I find interesting about this quote is the phrase “restore order.”

Does this mean Snoop doesn’t think hiring new defensive coaches fixed USC’s problems? He doesn’t think Lincoln Riley can “restore order.”

This must come as a shock to some fans who believe Riley’s poised for a huge 2024 season. Here’s the video:

  • Every time USC has a big recruiting event I hear from people in the athletic dept. how difficult it is to work with some in the football program.
  • Remember the statue of controversial USC founder Robert Widney that was removed by the university for “maintenance and cleaning” two months ago. It still hasn’t been seen since.

  1. The defensive coaching overhaul isn’t going to change the culture at USC. Lincoln Riley would love to have the fans believe it, but there’s no substitute for talent. And when was the last time the coaching staff had a head coaching candidate? Riley is very much like Clay Helton in that regard, they didn’t and don’t have the ability to attract top assistants.

  4. PC was great, but Ed O found the talent. He talked Cody into not going to ND, he found Mike Patterson, who PC didn’t think could play, he got Udeze away from ucla, and Chow got the O flying. SC started to slide after they both left, yes they won but the cracks started to show.

    PC, with all your woke BS, stay in Seattle, you’re a perfect fit there.

    1. Chris Carlisle was a HUGE part of Carroll’s success. Pete’s USC teams were as fresh in Q4 as they were in Q1. Carlisle followed PC to Seattle where he stayed until 2019.

Greetings , lets recall here comes the hardon horbaugh states his qb will be on top of the ladder well jj should stay at michigan ! horbaugh despises carroll so that situation could be brewing another edition !!! also the sd qb i predict will have big issues with horbaugh the coach??horbaughs so called dad is a mob figure a incorrigable mobster !?
