USC Notes: A Senior Bowl Report Worth Noting

Usually, most reports from the Senior Bowl are positive.

But Mike Sanford Jr., the former Colorado offensive coordinator/interim coach, did a radio interview from the Senior Bowl today, where he said USC wide receiver Brenden Rice has dropped a lot of passes and been “unimpressive.”

Sanford Jr. grew up a diehard USC fan and played QB at Los Alamitos High School. His dad is a former USC player/assistant coach.

Should I add the following? Sanford got hired at Colorado on Dec. 17, 2021. Rice entered the transfer portal two weeks later.

  • Remember when I said the lawn at USC’s McCarthy Quad would not be restored until April after a giant canopy was erected in January for Winter Concovation?

Well, this is how the lawn looks today.

  1. To what end would coach Sanford have in ridiculing Rice’s football abilities, especially when there is no connection between the two and the NFL draft is upcoming?

  2. Sounds like sour grapes re: Rice.

Wonder what Jr’s opinion was of St Brown who undoubtedly is one of the best recent wr’s drafted in round 4.

Or Nacua, another undetected gem by those pompous scouts.

Thanks MG for sending us the pineapple express. We certainly can use the rain here in So Cal.

    1. Mano y mano and ONE ON ONE, I’d have still taken the old man in that movie over any one of the Asian punks.

I’d have also taken him against any of the 3 black guys on the corner, except the big one.

      1. Clint is nearly Tirebiter’s age going on 94 and he was close to 90 when that movie was made, so I would have taken the Asians and all 3 of the black dudes

      2. That movie was made in 2008. He was 78 at the time.

Now?! Are you kidding me?! I wouldn’t take Clint over my stalker now. 😛

      1. So Cal: I recall about 20 years ago I was reviewing the requirements for foster homes in Los Angeles County. The County permitted Foster homes to own and store a firearm on the premises but it had to be locked in a safe rendering the firearm essentially useless in an emergency. But here was the kicker, a foster home could not store ammunition on the premises, not even the safe. I think the County knew these requirements violated the 2nd amendment but they imposed them anyway.

      2. WOW!! That is crazy.

It is sad that almost half our homeless come from the foster care system. Once they’re no longer getting a check, many foster parents want nothing to do with the person. Candidate Christina Pascucci (Trojan) wants to address that transition, but she’s got zero chance at Feinstein’s seat.

P.S. You weren’t supposed to reply to me. The Village Idiot claims no one does…as if she’s still in junior high and it’s a popularity contest. No one cares if someone replies to them. We’re all just tossing stuff against the wall. What a nimrod.
