This will anger the fanboys but it’s a revealing list.
247 Sports, which is more generous than Rivals when it comes to rankings, has 32 players that earned 5-star status. None of them signed with USC.
When you consider how many wide receivers populate this list (eight), you would think Lincoln Riley could land one of them.
If Missouri, South Carolina, Texas Tech and Colorado can sign one of the nation’s top 32 players, shouldn’t USC? There are people who will actually defend that USC hasn’t. Guaranteed.

Hey, wolfman…… You’re the idiot who in the past said stars are subjective and going forward in a college setting is the real indicator of a players ability
Just more clickbait…. Pathetic

Only 32 five-star players is not much of a sample size

Per ESPN:
Why the class rankings matter?
In the 10 years of the College Football Playoff era, nine of the 10 national champions had a four-year class ranking average better than 10.

While the portal is growing in popularity, this year’s CFP participants still relied heavily on recruited players. Across the four teams in this year’s field, recruited players accounted for 82% of starts.

So Riley can’t recruit 2 players from California who were on the top 32 high school players for 2023 but no reference to how many he recruited in 2022? Which is it? He can’t recruit or he can? Can’t be both Mr. Acid.

He got 3, one already left, so basically 2 and this year none, is that improvement?
I’ll cut Mr Air Raid some slack because SC can’t get their NIL shit together but zero 5 stars at USC isn’t acceptable
