The best part of USC’s 62-56 victory over UCLA on Saturday night is it prevents the media from continuing to carry water for Mick Cronin.
UCLA is 14-13 overall and will need to win the Pac-12 Tournament to make the NCAA Tournament. But up until UCLA lost its past two games, you still had pundits praising Cronin despite the fact UCLA’s been playing well below expectations.
USC was picked second in the Pac-12 preseason poll. UCLA was picked third. They both have underachieved.
The question for USC is why did it show some signs of life in Game 27? Kobe Johnson is shooting 38 percent this season but made 4 of 7 shots Saturday night. Boogie Ellis is shooting 43 percent but shot 50 percent vs. UCLA. They’ve both subpar this season but played better against the Bruins.
USC was still USC in some respects, making 10 of 20 free throws. UCLA shot 33 percent. Was that because of USC’s defense or the Bruins having a terrible shooting night? I know what UCLA fans think.
Last night the REAL preseason #2 and #3 teams played an epic game — championship caliber basketball —the likes of which won’t be seen again until the Final Four… all that is best in the world of college basketball was on displ….oh, ha ha ….. I can’t….I can’t do it …. it’s too easy…

It’s sad Scott had to resort to that. But who can blame him? She’s been asked so many times to stop with the disgusting, perverted stuff. But she gets off on it. She’s not all there. She’ll lie & make excuses for it, but none of us including Scott are buying it.
All the lies are bad enough, but tolerable. But sick, twisted stuff that she enjoys posting is not appreciated by anyone.

Interesting read about upcoming SC 2024 football season–
It opines that the opening game with LSU is SC’s biggest of the year
That Michigan lost guys but still sports great defensive front, so SC loss
Penn St is no sloutch but at coliseum SC is favored
Mystery game at Washington, the Huskies lost a ton of guys
Notre Dame at coliseum, payback or pay-up?

LSU is huge. A win puts the bloom back in Riley’s rose. A loss renews all the questions that popped up after game 6 last year.

You sayin’ the bloom came off the Wiley rose last season?
I’d say the ‘bloom’ was dead-on-arrival after Neuter Dame
and all that was left of his team were wind-blown sagebrushes

Brian Kelly is the one that is on thin ice – consider in
2022 he had the SEC CG against GA and lost 30 – 50 after bowl game against Purdue he finished at 10 – 4
2023 near identical to 2022 – lost to TX A&M, MS and AL and ended the year 10 – 3
The USC vs LSU game scheduled for 31st August 2024 Sunday at Allegiant Field in Las Vegas is the sole game being played that night on national television. The NFL pre-season is already over and the 1st game of the NFL regular season is set for the following Thursday 5th September KC Chiefs vs….
This game is huge for both USC and LSU and that is why it will be a true bellwether for the rest of the year. LSU has a fairly manageable schedule with the sole road test @ TX A&M on 26th October rest solid opponents – AL, OK and MS – all home
‘If’ USC defeats LSU they have a challenging schedule but with both Harbaugh and DeBoer gone from MI & WA those two squads will be re-inventing themselves.
Riley knows his entire coaching reputation rests on his reversing the disaster that was 2023 and now with HRH gone as well as Grinch with a completely revamped defense it looks pretty good save for this initial game. I don’t see ‘the princess’ as being prepared for their last game against USC – their schedule is ‘weak’ at best.

USC Basketball wins, but it’s obviously this team is poorly coaches. -Executing the fundamentals of the game are key in basketball. Poor recruiting strategy- our front line is terrible if we don’t shoot well from the outside we lose against the physical teams we play. Our rebounding is horrible.
Will Enfield survive probably this time but look for alot of players to transfer out due to the coaching staff we have now.

Mike what you stated per the daily consumption of ‘vino’ by Hillary goes right to the reality of the nationwide explosion in female bodies over the past 20 years – not due to normal aging but the huge consumption of wine. It is addictive and full of sugar. If one drinks 2 bottles a week by the end of one years there is a cool 15 lb weight gain. It is sad – no fan of hers but yeah she was a a very good looking woman back in the day and now she looks like Java the Hut’s stepchild.
