JuJu Watkins has made 16 of 62 shots the past two Sunday games at noon, which came after USC played a Friday night game.
The quick turnaround might be a factor in her poor shooting (26 percent). But here’s a question: Is that going to alleviated by a USC move to the Big Ten? You might have a Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday road trip that involves flying back to the East Coast or Michigan/Michigan State.
Another possible solution: If fatigue is an issue, maybe Lindsay Gottlieb should advise against taking 30 shots a game on Sundays. Especially since Watkins required an IV at halftime Sunday.

I’ve never stuck to just one of anything, John. That extra charcoal filtering that Tennessee whiskey goes through does give it a smokey flavor that isn’t always what I want. But on occasion, it hits the spot! Especially when mixed with Coke.

We had a gunner on our high school team named John White who shot about 25% from the field (no 3s back then, so shots were in close) and yet insisted on taking the clutch shots at the end of games in which we lost about 90% of them
