USC had three alumni win Oscars at the Academy Awards.
Ludwig Göransson won for best original score (Oppenheimer); Ben Proudfoot won for best documentary short (The Last Repair Shop) and producer Charles Roven won for best picture (Oppenheimer).

Maybe in Friday’s column, you could give a count on how many Oscars have been won by an SC Alumni, teacher, or some association with SC. Also have a count on how many ugly people have won and compare it to SC. That would be awesome. Thank you.
