Here’s a quick to-do list for Jen Cohen. These are things she needs to do. Not things I would do. Some coaches would be fired if it were my list.
1.) Keep Lincoln Riley humble, force him to meet the public and constantly remind him to play complementary football with the defense this season.
2.) Tell Andy Enfield he has one more season to get his program in order.
3.) Figure out an alternative to the baseball team practicing at El Camino College and playing in Irvine next season.

I would add to keep a list of possible Football Coaches and top assistants on deck for the very near future. And also structure some type of buyout for over paid coaches just in case they can’t get their perspective program going after year four

Cohen needs to get her act together. Sc has under acheived in football, men’s basketball, and baseball. But what do you expect from someone who thinks Taco Lita, in Arcadia on Duarte Rd., is the best Mexican food in the world.

When LR got the SC job, everyone complained that he couldn’t care less about defense. His critics were all right. He seemed to think that he could go 15-0, win a national championship winning every game 50-49. He needed to be convinced that this wasn’t plausible. Last years catastrophe convinced him of that. That is exactly what was needed…..a drammatic change in his overall philosophy of football.
Once he has this paradyme shift in his thinking, this guy can get things done. Just look at all the outstanding players he is bringing in, not to mention putting together one of the best coaching staffs in football. We can’t ignore all of the off the field analysts he is bringing in. All this in just one off-season. The guy can get things done. The big hurdle was an intellectual hurdle, namely his philosophy of football. But thanks to last seasons failure, that has changed.
I think that next season they are going to be really good despite the unbelievable difficult schedule.

USC baseball should structure the Coliseum like what the Dodgers did for the 1959 World Series that had the really short left field porch. They can play there with the odd dimensions for one year.
