Why hasn’t Andy Enfield to SMU been announced?
The reason is Enfield’s buyout drops to $2 million next week, so SMU is waiting to announce something.
This also gives USC a little bit of time to get started on hiring his replacement.

Seriously Mike who gives a rip about basketball? Same monotonous back and forth that only matters with <2 minutes to go and then it’s stretched out interminably. I’ll admit Byrd, Johnson had me focused as did Shaq and Jordan but today screw it

I could not care less about any pro sports. I used to watch them but I got tired of all of their left wing politics. I don’t watch sports to be indoctrinated in my own living room by far left politics.

Don, I don’t care about pro basketball one bit. USC basketball is a far cry from USC football. But definitely care about it more than NBA.

I don’t care about USC basketball(male or female) but I do like USC baseball. Of all the talk I heard when they were recruiting him about how Deuce Robinson might want to play pro baseball instead of pro football….so far he’s sitting on the bench. In 26 games this season, he’s 1 for 5 batting .200. He was working out with the Dodgers and the news media was making like he was the next Willie Mays. I’d stick with football if I were him and totally concentrate on that.

So far the overhyped baseball superstar Deuce has been a disappointment. He’s no Bo. He received plenty of playing time on the football team and seemed to have a predilection for holding.

I still think he should concentrate solely of football. Every once in a while a Bo Jackson comes along but not very often. Most athletes would be better off to stick to one sport in college. High school is another story.

The guy has done a great job at building a small school like Creighton into a basketball power.
Tough guy who has the respect of his players. Enfield, was too soft should not be in coaching perhaps maybe the woman’s game only. Sorry, the guy is probably in the wrong profession.
The SC job pays much more than the 2.5 million Mcdermott makes at Creighton, and the guy is a proven, solid basketball coach just watch his teams play.
Goodbye Andy you were good at recruiting 1 and done NBA lottery picks, but its very clear you are very poor at building a solid basketball program, and teaching the fundamentals of team basketball.

We will see how SMU does…SC was very good the last 8 years…this year too many individuals and not enough team…lots of injuries and 2 with heart problems did not help. The jury is still out…you may have to eat your words as wolf has had to over the last 20 years.

Yes the Wolf character was sure wrong the last 20 years about Pete firing Norm Chow and replacing him with the clown basketball buddies, SC hiring both of them to be head football coach, hiring Pat Haden, Hugs, Lynn Swann, Bohn Head and Lincoln Riley. I never see the Sunshine Pumpers who supported all those disastrous decisions eating their words.

He said PC was a Caesar ,obviously not liking him. He also he would never win anything in the nfl…
He constantly wrote diatribes against the two coaches that followed him and they knew nothing,although they are both head coaches at Univ that excel compared to SC.
He has done the same with Enfield from day one,even though his record at SC is better than any previous SC bsktbl coach.
Riley also is disdained by him…it does not matter who SC hires, it will end up as usual,even if they do hire the guy fron SDSU.
