Three-star tailback Harry Dalton of Dinwiddie, Va., committed to USC today. He is the second tailback to commit to USC for the Class of 2025, joining three-star Riley Wormley of Southlake, Texas.
USC now has nine commitments overall for 2025.
- Four-star QB Matt Zollers recently committed to Missouri over Georgia. That will put more pressure on the Bulldogs to try and flip the commitment of five-star QB Julian Lewis, who is committed to USC.
- Jalen Shelley, a top 100 player who signed with Arkansas, has requested to be released from his letter of intent following Eric Musselman’s departure. Will Shelley (6-9, 185) land at USC?
- USC baseball defeated Washington, 9-5, on Saturday and has won 10 of its past 14 games following a 3-11 start. Austin Overn tied a USC record with his 19th career triple.
Good. Dalton recruited by Alabama, Ohio State et al and Wormley by Texas.

Harry Dalton supposedly runs a 4.27 40…..which would make him the fastest guy we’ve got. Watch his film on YouTube — he’s incredible.

Harry Dalton? Wasn’t he the GM of the BAL Orioles and stayed with them thru 1971 garnering 5 AL pennants and 2 WS Championships? He then came to the Angels to try to do the same for Gene Autry in 1971, that Harry Dalton?

This kid could be a real sleeper. He runs hard. I watched his films and, in the open field, he never used a fake to get around potential tacklers. He either used his speed to run around them or he ran over them. He’s not a bad passer. He could be an outstanding QB at places like Kansas State, Army, Navy and Air force and other schools where they run the QB a lot. SC could use him in a lot of special situations. I like his size too. At 5’10” and 205, that’s my perfect size for a running back.

As horrible as Trump might be, an old man who’s fallen on his face a half dozen times, has dementia and tramples on the Constitution any chance he gets is not the answer. Anyone with a functioning brains knew that in 2020.
His 2020 voters have a lot of blood on their hands. I realize they all lie to themselves about that simple FACT.

Hey, maybe Wiley’s stellar record at Oklahoma was not a mirage now that he recognizes defense is half of football and he is bringing in some fellas who know how to play the game

According to what I saw ‘Hairy’ Dalton is a solid 6 feet 205 pounder who is a 4-star footballer who last year passed for 1600 yards and ran for 1200 while also playing defensive back. He said “This is a deam come true, I’m a Trojan. Fight on!”– SC’s 2025 class is now #3 in the nation

If Lincoln can pull off 9 wins this season …go to a decent bowl and win it … 2025 could be fricking amazing with so many potential stars [who will stick around if they see success] & an experienced QB….

Actually, Michael, if SC can somehow go 10-2 in 2024 they would probably qualify for the 12-team playoffs

MG, after losing all that talent and entering the much more challenging Big Ten with much nore travel…how likely is that?

We’ll have the answer after LSU, Grabby —in the meantime, none of the talk about the defense “flying” and players being “jacked up” means anything…. let’s see them play football & decide if they’ve bounced back from 2023…..

taking Harbaugh out of the conference definetly changes the narrative of next season. Urban Meyer & Barry Alvarez aren’t walking through that door.

SC also got a commitment from a RB from Tennessee, Daune Morris
Morris and Dalton are listed as athletes, so RB, WR, DB ?

…and Dalton is good at QB too….

commitments mean nothing. Talk about them when the play in a game if they ever do.

cool! If he even show up he’s not gonna get any carries in the second half since that’s SOPs now.
