Morning Buzz: USC Plays Part In Massive Chain Reaction

Should Arkansas and Kentucky send USC athletic director Jen Cohen a thank-you letter?

Arkansas is expected to hire John Calipari to replace Eric Musselman and doesn’t have to pay anything for a buyout.

Kentucky gets rid of Calipari for free. If it fired Calipari, it owed him $32 million.

  • Have USC fans thanked SMU enough for hiring Andy Enfield? That got the ball rolling. Let’s also thank Indiana State, which overcame a 15-point deficit in the NIT against SMU less than three weeks ago.
  • Did you notice South Carolina wore gold in its uniforms in the national championship game vs. Iowa? They looked like USC. The real USC.

  1. Scott, don’t tell folks Back East that the “real SC” is Southern Cal

Calipari is moving from basketball blue blood Kentucky to mediocre Arkansas– why, was he pushed out?

    1. Kentucky gave him $30 million to win, he didn’t win enough. Kentucky basketball is win every year of goodbye, he won one NC in his 3r year but the last 4 years have been meh, not good enough.

  2. Connecticut would have given South Carolina a better game than Iowa did. The Iowa Hawkeyes more resembled 5-day old sockeyes

I still say the media picking on Bitin for his stuttering problem is in poor taste. What that has to do with his policies only a Stump-addict could tell you

    1. I have always admired your sense of fair play, John. Folks forget that, after the election [which Trump will win], we have to work together. That said, I’ve listened to Biden speeches for years….what we’re seeing now isn’t plain old stuttering.

    2. Biden doesn’t stutter, never has, it’s just another one of his many lies about his past, the most recent lie is that he ” took the train many times over the Francis Scott Key Bridge “, but there are no railroad tracks on that bridge.

Biden 1/26/2024, said that average tax rate for billionaires is 8%

Biden 2/20/23, said the average tax rate for billionaires is 3%

The list is endless with this guy, he’s a walking lie machine.

      1. I am an equal ‘pick-on both candidates’ guy, and what Bitin said did not necessarily imply that he ever took a train over the bridge, but that he had taken that bridge many times (via car).

Amazing how this political-bias too-often colors reasonableness resulting in everybody walking around believing they have ‘The Answer’

      2. It’s not only Biden who is a habitual lyer. It’s the dems, in general. How long has Mayorkas been saying that the border is under control even though the national guard is being attacked during the riots they have been having at the border. They’ll keep lying. Why not? The people keep voting for them…..or do they?

They say the voting machines can’t be hacked. They most certainly can be. They not only can determine the winner but they can determine how much they win by. There is a big election coming for Joe Mansions senate seat. That’s huge. Whoever wins that seat will be in control of the senate. The dems feel that they must win that seat. I predict they will(even though West Virginia leans to the right). I’m also predicting that they will win by around 51 to 49. It’s a right leaning state so they must make it look close. Let’s see what happens.

      3. John isn’t hiding his opinions, guys. He hates Trump [lots of people do] ….and it’s clear he’s gonna vote for Biden….even though Biden is trying to send billions of dollars to Ukraine to continue a war 70% of the American people don’t want….and is allowing an invasion of the southern border which will lead to housing, medical and education expenses the middle class can’t afford …. [there isn’t any largess left].

Many good & decent Americans have been propagandized by main stream media —which is owned by the Left. It’s something we are going to have to deal with after the election —when these same decent folks support the Left’s next “Insurance Plan.”

      4. Parcelman — If the Right isn’t smart enough to figure out how to overcome election fraud after all these years maybe they don’t deserve to win. I have listened to repubs talk about dealing with mail-in and computer fraud for 8 years —and wanna know what they’ve come up with? Nothing. [By now, at the very least, they should have organized and trained a 10 million person army of volunteers to monitor key polling locations, armed with technical & law enforcement support].

You’re probably right that the repubs haven’t done enough but a lot of this fraud is taking place by hackers who are not anywheres near the polling place. I could be wrong. I’m not a computer expert. But I saw(on the internet) them hack one of those voting machines. They put in, I think, 60 votes. It was 30 for candidate A and 30 for candidate B(or something like that). Then this hacker just took a simple laptop and started typing and when he finished they took the result from this voting machine and it didn’t say 30-30, it said 60-40 in favor of candidate A. They did that to demonstrate that those machines could be hacked because they were saying that they couldn’t be.

In 2020 Trump was hugely popular. Everywhere he went he drew thousands to hear him speak. Biden spoke from his cellar and almost nobody came to hear him. When Trump went to sports events, The crowd started cheering when his name was announced. When Biden or his wife went, they booed or started chanting “lets go Brandon”. Then all of a sudden the election comes and Biden gets more votes than any other candidate in history. I can’t help thinking that there is something not right in that scenario.

But you could argue that in 2020 he was fairly popular. He was Obamas right hand man(even though Obama himself said he was a screwup). So, they reason, it could have happened. But today everyone hates Biden. Even the dems want to get rid of him. I have a hard time finding anyone who says they like Biden. What would you say if in 2024, the same thing happens. Biden wins 51-49 and again has the highest amount of votes ever cast for a candidate though, on the street, you can’t find anyone who likes him. People ask for proof of fraud. What do they mean by “proof”. That is a form of proof.

    1. Here’s what Biden said March 26 at the White House: “At about 1:30, a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I’ve been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car.”

      You simply are not credible.

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Your bias is showing– This can be intepreted as Bitin commutes to Delaware many, many times by train or by car. Although imperfectly stated it does not necessarily mean he commuted over the bridge by train (which is physically impossible).

  5. — See where Stump is backing down from his anti-abortion stance where he says, “Let the States handle it”, and meanwhile the other fool Bitin is having the taxpayers “pay off” the student loans to the tune of another trillion or 2, but what the heck, the unofficial tally if counting in the “entitement” programs is 63-trillion, but no worries, China won’t let the U.S. file bankruptcy.

    1. John–Guess what? Anything & Everything Biden gives away is paid off by American taxpayers…. the student loan debacle is the least of our problems — the costs of supporting millions of illegals, the costs of foreign wars not in our interest and the subsidizing of Ukrainian pensions isn’t helping either.

    1. LJ: So you voted for Trump over Hillary in 2016 because Hillary was “a seasoned politician” and Trump was merely a Hustler. This supposed to be evidence that the posters don’t know your politics! Cite some new evidence. I think we know your politics.

Biden has been in politics for 52 years. I would say that qualifies him as a “seasoned politician.” Yet you won’t say that you didn’t vote for him. And we have confirmation that the Biden family has accepted more graft from influence peddling than even the Clintons – 7.8 million from Burisma to Biden shell companies confirmed by IRS whistleblowers: 3 million from the wife of the mayor of Moscow confirmed by photos of restaurant meetings and bank statements; 10 million from CCP energy company confirmed by text messages and bank statements.

Did Trump accept millions of dollars from foreign interests to do political favors? No. He was a billionaire land developer when he took office. But he did take out a bank loan on a development project and made timely payments on the loan and repaid it on time yet still managed to be fined by a corrupt NY AG and judge to the tune of 464 million. Where’s the outrage over the unequal application of the law and infringement of due process lawyer John! Your silence in the face of civil rights abuses against Republicans, open borders, soft on crime DAs, no cash bail, ect. suggests that you are a leftist. We know your politics better than you think we do.

  7. “Just the facts, ma’am”– It is easy to blame both parties for the national debt- Under Clinton the debt grew more than 1/3, under Bush it grew another $5-trillion, under Obama another $9Trillion, Trump another $8Trillion and under Biden as of 2023 another $4 Trillion.
