USC Loses Freshman Linemen

USC freshman offensive lineman Jason Zandamela, who spent a grand total of three months on campus, is entering the transfer portal, according to On3.

Zandamela was rated by some services as the No. 1 interior lineman in the country for the Class of 2024. There were a lot of rumors he would decommit and go to Florida State but he stuck with USC — for three months.

The portal is so out of control that players are leaving during spring practice. They don’t even wait anymore.

Maybe USC can have Coach “Henny” talk to Zandamela and change his mind. Just kidding.

Frankly, guys like Zandamela (who is from Florida) should really be enjoying their senior year of high school instead of moving across the country in the middle of the school year just to make some college coaches happy. But I guess he learned this the hard way.

  1. The Portal carousel is “ruining” college football some say, but yet when the finished product is out on the field come September it will be time for “Rah Rah Rah for my Old Alma Mater”

    1. Some say that the portal is ruining college football. What do you say Lawyer John. It is your post. Should we get rid or the portal? How about NIL? Yes or No! Do you ever take a position on anything. Your “don’t worry, be happy” mantra on politics, religion, and virtually all things is wearing thin. Does anything matter in your fantasy world?

    1. The guy was beyond a football hero, with his foray into the entertainment field coupled with movie star looks it turned him into an American icon. Absent the murders the outpouring of love and fond memories for him would have been overwhelming today

      3. OJ v Hitler not analogous. OJ f’d up his life and his considerable legacy within seconds due to a jealous rage. Hitler was years and systematic planning in the making (not to mention 2 lives vs 6 million).

      8. That’s true especially since I have never been 100% convinced that he did do it. But a lot of people who know a lot more about it than I do say that there’s no doubt about it.

      4. Right CR. But shortly after he slit the throat of his pretty white ex-wife, he played the race card. All of the white cops he was friendly with for years suddenly became racists who were willing to plant evidence in order to make this innocent black man appear guilty.

    1. What makes Christianity a great religion LJ? C’mon tell us. You brought up the subject. Is Christianity real? Was Christ the son of God? Is God real? Did Christ rise from the dead? Is Islam a false religion when compared to Christianity? How do you know that nobody practices Christianity. Did Mary, mother of God, practice it? Is Mary a saint? How about the Apostles, Theresa of Calcutta or Pope John Paul II or Padre Pio? Were they frauds. Give us a real response instead of the usual noncommittal drivel so that we can measure your true thoughts and beliefs. This may expose you to criticism but go for it. 

      BTW, you still have not answered the question – do you support the transfer portal and/or NIL? 4th time I have asked. You tend not to answer anything of substance but prefer to hide in the weeds and then criticize those who do weigh in. Nothing admirable about that behavior. You are the new Boy George of the blog – a man without conviction, until you prove otherwise. I am the man you chose to identify as a sinner. Show me how much better you are than me.

    1. So who are you supporting LJ in this pivotal election? Trump or Biden. What is the basis for your support? Take a stand. It may subject you to criticism but that is part of life. Be a man. Have an opinion. Stop hiding in the weeds.

If you really want to make some big money in todays america, don’t become a doctor, lawyer, dentist, university professor…..Go into entertainment(sports, rock star, movie star, TV star) or deal drugs. Unfortunately, that’s where the real money is. Labron James and El Chappo(before he got arrested) made a lot more money than any doctor. It’s like Yuval Noah Harrari(one of the leaders and shakers in the New World Order globalism movement) once said when asked how they planned to get the world population from 8 billion down to 500 million….his answer was “well, for right now all we can do is keep them hooked on drugs and video games…..or another way of saying drugs and entertainment. Sadly, that’s where the money is.

  12. So Cal, I’m curious, are you stating since OJ was found not guilty, it’s a closed case in your mind, regardless of the facts, although there was an “orgy of evidence,” (Minority Report fans) against him?

    Do you think Nicolle and Ron were killed by Colombian drug dealers? Robbery gone wrong? And you believe OJ was framed?

    Again, we’re all anonymous here, outside of MG, but the way you vociferously defend OJ…I mean, are you related to OJ? Half way kidding, but damn!!

    This is right up there with the moon landing being faked, 9/11 faked, etc. The lack of deduction skills are astounding.
