USC scrimmaged today at the Coliseum but it was closed to the media and public.
Lincoln Riley spoke afterward — or did not speak — about the transfer of defensive tackle Isaiah Raikes.
“It’s something we’re all dealing with,” Riley said.
USC will try to add some interior defensive linemen via the transfer portal, Riley said.
He also said Vanderbilt defensive lineman Nate Clifton has been “an immediate fit.”
- Cornerback John Humphrey underwent minor surgery and will miss the spring game next weekend.
- Riley said Prophet Brown is playing cornerback and nickel back and moving up the depth chart.
I’m just going to say a year ago Riley was telling everyone how Ceyair Wright was the breakout player of the spring.
- Domani Jackson started for Alabama in today’s scrimmage. I hear he looked similar to when he was at USC.

The $6 billion in Iranian oil revenue was freed up last October as part of the U.S.-Iranian prisoner swap in which five American citizens were freed. It was made available solely for humanitarian purposes and is under strict U.S. oversight. I guess I was not exactly telling the whole story. I suffer from what Gabby calls confirmation bias. This phenomenon, called deindividuation, is well known to psychologists and has been found to emerge in several areas of interpersonal relations, such as gaming, role-playing and crowd behaviors, particularly hooliganism. Thus, even when we are not naturally sadistic, trolling may bring out the worst side in us, by lifting the moral constrains and social etiquette that regulates our behavior in normal situations, and by fueling dissent and triggering abrasive reactions.
Third, trolling is a status-enhancing activity: by attracting readers’ attention, upsetting people, sparking heated debates, and even gaining approval from others, trolls can feel important, perhaps much more than they are in their real lives. Thus, trolling is yet another internet activity that promotes narcissistic motives, since trolls may be expected to be far less successful in attracting people’s attention in the physical world. The only effective antidote to their tactics is to ignore them, but even then, trolls won’t suffer a public humiliation because nobody knows who they are. This is what makes trolling so ubiquitous – it requires no skills other than the ability to be obnoxious

The accusatory complaints being filed against Trump are plainly violative of Due Process. [Same in the civil cases wherein plaintiffs aren’t being required to specify day, time…..or year]!
