Show Me The Money

Bear Alexander signed a new NIL deal in late March with the USC collective.

Then this announcement came out yesterday. Does it illustrate why Alexander reversed course after he was supposed to enter the transfer portal? You mean it wasn’t playing for Coach “Henny” that swayed him but NIL dollars?

I really hope Alexander shows the same desire on the field.

      [Loved that Tom Cruise grabbed him and told him not to forget to thank his wife as he was headed up to the stage]…..

      2. Rodney Jones, a music producer who first sued Combs for sexual assault back in February, is now adding Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. to that complaint.

        Jones, also known as Lil Rod, said the actor sexually harassed and assaulted him, such as by groping him while aboard Combs’ yacht. Jones’ original lawsuit alleged Combs forced him to procure sex workers and forced him to engage in unwelcome sex acts.

  2. These players are taking advantage of the colleges. It won’t last. They will kill the sport. I used to be a big basketball fan in the 1980s but that has waned. Why? Because one and done in college results in mediocre play and less interest in the players who you don’t get to see develop.

      1. Don’t think so Michael. Capitalism always involves new products ands services. Think of the cell phone on all the various applications. These things are so useful we have no choice but to embrace them. They are not optional. 

        But things that fall into the entertainment field are different. You can grow tired of a play or movie genre. You can also grow tired of a sport and the players in a sport. LeBron James is a great player and the Lakers are a great brand but I am tired of the player and the brand. Don’t even watch Laker playoff games anymore. I also was not a big fan of Shaq, who I thought was a lazy player, and Kobe, who I thought was a selfish player. The game just doesn’t measure up to the Show Time era when I was a really big fan.

  5. That pictue above illustrates the difference for SC versus most Big-10 teams whereas the Trojans enter the stadium with 1/3 of the seats taken compared to Michigan or Ohio St where the stadium is filled an hour before kickoff
