USC freshman defensive tackle Deijon Laffitte has entered the transfer portal.
He was a promising prospect but in a way you can see why he would leave.
Lincoln Riley kept talking all spring about wanting another defensive tackle and USC is hosting Michigan State defensive tackle Derrick Harmon on Friday. So what role could Laffitte expect to play?
I seem to remember Riley saying he didn’t really expect anyone else to leave. But college football is simply a revolving door anyways.

CR: Also conceivable that with Raikes departure he thought he had a realistic shot at playing time as a Freshman and became discouraged upon the announcement that USC was bringing in multiple nose tackles.
