Saturday Notes: USC In Beach Volleyball Final Vs. UCLA

It seems only a matter of time before Carol Folt clears Alumni Park of protestors.

Folt sent out this statement: “Every part of our campuses, including Alumni Park, must be fully accessible.”

Students hung a banner from Doheny Library this morning. Wire fences were installed between the library and Alumni Park, where the protestors are staying.

  • USC and UCLA will meet tomorrow at 8 am PT in the beach volleyball NCAA championship on ESPN. USC is ranked No. 1. UCLA is No. 2.

The teams have met six times this season and split the matches, 3-3.

  • Former USC guard Oziyah Sellers has transferred to Stanford. I bet Kyle Smith gets more out of him than Andy Enfield.
  • I didn’t have Tim Floyd showing up at a Jason Whitlock “event” on my bingo card. But they both live in Nashville so Floyd won’t have to leave town.

      1. Yeah, 10 am is local time in Gulf Shores, AL.

We’d better win. Damn Ruins beat LBSU for the men’s volleyball NC today.

  2. -Just viewed again the movie “Pearl Harbor” showing good old-fashioned ‘American know-how’ at work transforming from making refrigerators to making bombs for the war.

We’ll never see those good days of American unity again, society is almost ‘past the point of no return”
