    1. 33 yards would place him last in 2023’s Pac 12…. that should get it done. Big 10 here we come.

      1. Wolf, for some reason, has failed to report this

USC football continues to bolster special teams for next season, landing a commitment from Hawaii transfer punter Cameron Shirangi on Saturday. Shirangi, a graduate transfer, has two years to play one season

Shirangi began his career at Pomona-Pitzer College before transferring to Hawaii this past winter, leaving after one semester and spring camp. He averaged 46.4 yards per punt with a long of 77 yards in 2023, an average that would’ve ranked No. 10 in FBS.

He was a perfect 8-of-8 on field goals with a long of 47 yards. Shirangi was named an American Football Coaches Association All-American first-team punter and second-team kicker.

It’s an interesting pickup for the Trojans, who return starting senior punter Eddie Czaplicki. Czaplicki was USC’s started 13 games, averaging 43.3 yards on his 44 punts in 2023, of which 15 pinned opponents with in the 20. It was a slight drop off from his 2022 stats at Arizona State, where he averaged 46.0 yards on his 50 punts. Given that Shirangi has two to play one, Shirangi can redshirt this season.

  1. Good thing the games are indoors so USC won’t have to deal with the cold and snow, we all know how Wolf beats that to death.
