I hear USC wants to pay around $450,000 to its final basketball assistant coach.
How hard can it be to find someone with that salary?
Apparently, harder than expected. Eric Musselman wants someone with local ties but that’s still enough money to lure someone. Anyone.
- USC has scheduled a visit for Wyoming defensive tackle Gavin Meyer. He is also considering Wisconsin, Cal and Illinois.
Meyer, a two-year starter at Wyoming, had 26 tackles and 3.5 tackles for a loss last season.
- Carol Folt usually gives the opening remarks at the USC Student Recognition Awards at Bovard Auditorium. Today, she did not appear at the ceremony.
If Folt kept the presidential mansion in San Marino (above), she wouldn’t have to hear protestors outside her house at midnight.

MLK dream – a color blind society where people are judged not by their skin color but by the content of their character.
Obama/Biden dream – divide people between oppressor and victim. Teach children in schools beginning in kindergarten to hate white people, the oppressors, especially the straight males. Males are toxic. Tell kids of color that the system is stacked against them and if they do not succeed it is the fault of the white patriarchy. And then advance people of color who are less qualified over those evil straight Christian males and call it DEI. Eliminate merit and it will collapse the evil capitalistic system.
