The USC women’s water polo team lost to Stanford, 8-3, in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
Yes, the days of Jovan Vavic are officially a memory. Vavic won six NCAA titles in women’s water polo at USC. But USC’s won one title since he was fired in 2019.
- Meanwhile, the women’s tennis team lost to Pepperdine, 4-0, in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. USC lost to Pepperdine three times this season by a combined score of 12-2.
- Actor Sean Penn delivered the keynote address at the USC School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences graduation today on campus.
“This world you’re inheriting is one awesome and mysterious beauty of a place. The journey you’re about to take is perfect, if you let it be,” Penn said.

Sports for the very most part is in the gutter at USC these days outside of Women Beach Volleyball and Women golf, and Women basketball. Men have become a laughing stock Nationally other than maybe Track & Field/ Water Polo. Time for some coaching changes surely. AD Cohen in my mind has shown she is a gutless over rated person for this job. ________________________________
