Bronny James Expected To Stay In NBA Draft

Former USC guard Bronny James has been medically cleared by the NBA’s Fitness to Play panel and he is expected to remain the draft.

No surprise there. But who wants a guard who averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and shot 28 percent from 3-point range? The Lakers, of course.

The question is whether the Lakers use a second-round pick (55th overall) or wait and sign James as a free agent.

One other question: Will James conduct interviews in the NBA? He never answered a single question from a reporter while at USC.

Remember all the massive hype that accompanied James’ arrival at USC and the athletic dept.’s crowing about its increase in social media followers? What did it accomplish at the end of the day?

  1. Well played on the clickbait, Scott. When it read “Bronny James expected to stay,” had to open it to see “in NBA draft.”

Thought Bronny decided to stay another year and get that draft stock up from “are you fucking kidding me?” To “kid should stay all four years.”

  2. It would be just like the lakers to draft him in the 2nd round just as they gave kobe that huge extension at the end of his career.
