USC Moved To Big Ten But Pac-12 Bowls Still Have Say

USC is moving to the Big Ten but it still has the lousy Pac-12 bowl arrangements for the next two seasons, according to Brett McMurphy.

That means trips to the Holiday, Alamo, Las Vegas, LA bowls if USC doesn’t make the College Football Playoff.

It feels like the worst parts of the Pac-12 (the TV network, the bowls) are taking forever to shake off/eliminate.

    1. A 10-2 record will get both teams into the college football playoffs.

I wonder if these athletes that seem to care only for the money will actually play in the playoffs or other bowl games. So many of them opted out last year including Caleb Williams. Seems like there should be something in the NIL agreement that says they have to play in the playoffs.

  2. Old L.A. Times sports columnist T.J. Simers won about $7 million against the Times for employment violations, the Times appealed and a new trial was set where T.J. then was awarded $15 million and the Times had to fork it over.

Never was a big fan of T.J.’s style of humor, he unfortunately had to follow the great Jim Murray

  3. T.J.’s ‘humor’ was tailored to ‘in your face insults’ and so Garrett was always “arrogant” and Simers’ son-in-law was “The Grocery Baggar;’ some celebrities did not take well to his insults while a few took it as a compliment, “The No publicity is bad publicity’ crowd

  5. I don’t blame Caleb at all for missing the crappy bowl game USC played. Now if it’s a playoff game that’s a whole different story. Plus he gave Miller Moss valuable playing time.
