USC Notes: Four-Star Guard Chooses Cal

Jovani Ruff, a four-star shooting guard from Long Beach Poly, committed to Cal this afternoon. USC, Kansas and Oregon were the other finalists.

Wonder what NIL was offered by Cal?

  • USC women’s golf coach Justin Silverstein signed a contract extension through the 2028-29 season. Meanwhile, USC is still without a women’s rowing coach after dismissing Josh Adam.
  • Pitt is going to play USC in women’s volleyball at the Galen Center on Sept. 11. You know why I mention this? Pitt has been to three straight Final Fours. USC? I’m still waiting for them to do something lately.

    Lousy head coaches for many years and lack of support from the Athletic Program. Done

    almost nothing since they got rid of Coach Mick Haley. Jen Cohen is an over rated loser sticking with worthless coaches in minor sports. ________________________________

      Most of the world sees it for what it is, politically motivated. Even Boris Johnson said, “This was no ordinary political assassination. This was a machine-gun mob-style hit-job on Trump. The American people have looked at this case, and in spite of all the portentous claims about its HISTORIC importance, they have concluded that it was, by and large, a load of stunted-up old nonsense.”

      But as usual, she’ll makes excuses and lie about this sentiment not being representative of how the rest of the world sees it. When the truth is, they’ve seen enough of this type of Banana Republic stuff in other countries to recognize it.

    seems a reach inasmuvh as WA has a new head coach and will have already faced USC – in addition ‘the princess’ has a pretty easy schedule.save for their opener on Sat 31st Aug @ TX A&M…
