USC Morning Buzz: The Insanity Level In L.A. Could Skyrocket

The Lakers are courting UConn coach Dan Hurley, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

If Hurley comes to L.A., it’ll be a contest to see who has the more intense personality between him and Eric Musselman.

“He’s insane,” college basketball reporter Jeff Goodman said of Hurley on Thursday morning.

The same has been said about Musselman, including by a former USC basketball coach recently.

Remember, former USC coach Bob Boyd turned down the Lakers job in 1969. Totally different world today, of course.

  • Caleb Williams completing a long pass to former USC wide receiver Velus Jones. Another guy Clay Helton failed to develop.

  1. Once again, the Wolfman is attacking someone’s character to feel better about the empty life he lives.

it’s the constant personal attacks that have contributed to the demise of this blog. Wolf is blinded by his narcissism

I take pleasure in watching his blog burn down day after day. Once upon a time this was “Inside USC’, today, it’s far from it.

  2. Wolf doesn’t care if you respect him as long as you ‘read him’

Scary Hurley or Muzzleman?– I would still take Bob Boyd after all these decades

So Ton-o-Hel gets blamed again for a failure to “develop” footballers, but isn’t there such a thing as developing yourself?

    1. Yes – another ‘counter-revolutionary’ to be ‘re-educated’ in the ‘rodina’s’ camp of rehabilitation…..the real goal by ‘Barakska’ was to eliminate local law enforcement and create a ‘Nationalische Polezei Kripo Abteilung’….they like the idea of ‘old school’ you might know them as ‘CHEKA’

  4. Ahh little leftists or perhaps Trump obsessed commenting. You can just see these high powered, highly financed leftist think tanks charting out the implementation of an authoritarian takeover.  Incrementalism based, so as to ease us in with little pushback, changing language, adding concepts ( equity, then suddenly “disinformation” became a daily heard word), setting up reasons ( climate change ?) food and utilities will be rationed so the excuse is ahead of the action, again to minimize resistance.  Conservative think tanks are slow witted and will cower when things go sideways.
White leftists / liberals have no idea that they’ll be walked off the plank along with everyone else once the “transition” to authoritarian control is fully implemented . They are intellectual peasants ( IP’s are usually educated, taught what to think, not how, highly emotional, can’t critically think / emotionally influenced). Historically every authoritarian takeover needs them to assist in the destruction of a free country. Republicans/ conservatives sat back and watched them take public offices on the local, state and fed level cowering about being called names. The authoritarian formula never changes, just the people’s ethnicities.  Pick up a world history book.

      2. Yup, MG. She should’ve been 5150’d a long time ago. That 72 hours would’ve turned into years after the preliminary examination.

      3. All joking aside……….I am being serious here. There is something wrong with so cal’s mental acuity. He reads something and then responds in a way that has nothing to do with the context he’s responding to.

He claims everything is a lie, but an opinion is not a lie, just one’s belief.. He can’t get his head right that concept.

His long-running obsession with Biden and Gabby is not normal brain function.

Too stupid to see the contradiction. No one here is surprised.

  8. Velus Jones was originally a Tee Martin recruit from Mobile. Phenomenal athlete. Clay Helton fired Tee as OC even though he called plays only on running downs … Tyson Helton called plays on passing downs.
