I’ve been wanting to say this for awhile but mentioning Velus Jones as a player who was not developed by Clay Helton reminded me.
What about Amon-Ra St. Brown?
He is considered one of the top receivers in the NFL. What did Helton get out of him?
He caught about 7 passes a game his final year at USC for 11.7 yards. The year before that he averaged 6 receptions per game for a better 13.5-yards per catch.
These are just stats. What’s more important is if you watched the games, it never felt like St. Brown was utilized enough. That’s happening now in the NFL.

The Air Raid offense is known for short passes. Not surprising that yards per catch is relatively low. And St. Brown had to share the ball with Michael Pittman, Drake London and Tyler Vaunghs. Not surprising that he wouldn’t have huge individual stats.

Right Michael. Joy Reid, like virtually all feminists, has denied God and her role in God’s creation. She refuses to acknowledge that she needs God, a man, and children to be fulfilled. So she is angry and lashes out on all of those who remind her of her folly. Poor girl.
