Don’t worry, USC won’t play Mississippi in 2025 but it will still have a Southern school on the schedule.
The Trojans play Georgia Southern on Sept. 6, 2025. Now that is a game Lincoln Riley fully supported.
- What’s always funny about USC bragging about moving back to 710-AM is it conveniently ignores the fact that it was on a Zombie station (790-AM) with a mixed signal for six years and that was considered OK.
- The USC band held a 12-hour fundraiser yesterday. There was a watercolor painting of a cannery by former band director Art Bartner that was going for $550.

Now that USC is in the BIG they are going to have at least 4 or 5 tough conference games every year plus Notre Dame and then possibly the BIG championship game. Okay to schedule a creampuff under these circumstances and you have the added benefit of booing Helton one last time before humiliating his team on the field.

Be great to see ‘The Winner of the William Bendix doppleganger contest’ Clay Heltonska Chevrolet. What a joke but at least he actually was an assistant coach before he got slid into the job unlike what the NYY have done with Aaron Boone (from the broadcast booth to the helmsman of the NYY).

I will never boo Helton. Guy was a class act. He hardly was the only one to blame for some bad seasons but he’s taken all the brunt of it.

The whole Helton story: Got his ass handed to him by Alabama —kept the team together after brutal Utah loss—-came back and won our last Rose Bowl appearance….
