USC Lands A Commitment!

Finally, a commitment.

Corey Simms, a four-star wide receiver from St. Louis, committed to USC today over Missouri, Penn State and Nebraska.

So the day is not a total loss. No matter what else is going on, USC always lands receivers.

  1. This is a typical Lincoln Helton move, sign some of the best skills players, then play flag football against physical teams .. lol. That’s why neither one have never, or will ever win a national championship. 😂😂

  3. Simms is a big WR, 6’3″, 210 lbs, 4.55 40 as a sophomore, 35″ vertical jump, hopefully he will be in the mold of Mike Pittman Jr. He also had Georgia, LSU, Michigan offers.

    Fellas, how about a hiatus on personal insults? Scottie’s blog from last Friday was a classic, but it was sullied by a lot of tangential posts. Let’s see if we can clean it up and bring back some of the former guys and gals who left.

      You nailed it about Scott’s Friday Column —it displayed all the sports facts, nostalgia and witticisms that make Scott the best around…..and we spoiled it by sniping at each other. Enough. Let’s go back to being a band of brothers [with one sister, Cara].

Some of the sniping here is tongue in cheek, it mostly doesn’t rise to vindictiveness which was evident in the Grossman sentencing (she killed 2 kids when going 80 mph) when the kids’ mother was incensed and visibly upset when Grossman got “only” 15 years in prison instead of the 30 years this mother was praying for
