Linebacker Noah Mikhail committed this afternoon to Texas A&M over USC and Oregon.
Now I don’t get too excited when someone commits or spurns USC. The one thing I will say about this is USC landing a four-star from La Verne should be a layup.
This is where some USC fans will immediately blame NIL. They would have done the same thing if Mikhail committed to Oregon.
USC will get its share of recruits and whether it got Mikhail isn’t really a make-or-break event. But like I said, he was the type of recruit that would have been a no-brainer for a John McKay, John Robinson or Pete Carroll to land.

Exactly. That is the rumored reason the two DL from Georgia decommitted. Wanted to be paid before the signed a LOI.
